dc.description.abstract	เสียงในภาษาไทดั้งเดิมซึ่งสืบสร้างโดยฟัง กวย ลี หลายเสียง ไม่ปรากฏในภาษาไทยและภาษาไทถิ่นที่พูดในปัจจุบัน แต่เสียงเหล่านี้ อาทิ ?b ?d ?j j g ฯลฯ ยังปรากฏในภาษาตระกูล มอญ-เขมร สาขาบัฮนาริก และกะตูอิกที่พูดในแขวงเซกอง ลาวใต้ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง ในคำที่ภาษาตระกูลมอญ-เขมร หรือภาษาตระกูลมอญ-เขมรอาจยืมจากภาษาตระกูลไท ส่วนการสร้างคำใหม่ด้วยวิธีผสานคำเป็นลักษณะเก่าแก่ดั้งเดิมในภาษาตระกูลมอญ-เขมร เพราะสามารถสืบสร้างหน่วยเติมหน้าศัพท์และหน่วยเติมกลางศัพท์ได้ อาทิ การเติมหน่วยกลางศัพท์ -arn- เพื่อทำให้เป็นคำนาม การเติมหน่วยกลางศัพท์ -ai- เพื่อทำให้เป็นคำกริยา การเติมหน่วยหน้าศัพท์ CaN- เพื่อทำให้เป็นคำกริยาการีต และการเติมหน่วยหน้าศัพท์ *Car- เพื่อทำให้เป็นคำกริยาแสดงการกระทำร่วมกันหรือตอบโต้กันในภาษากะตูอิกดั้งเดิม เป็นต้น	en
dc.description.abstractalternative	Many Proto-Tai sounds reconstructed by Fang Kuei Li, such as ?b ?d ?j j g etc., no longer exist in Thai and Tai dialects spoken today. However, these sounds are still preserved in the sound systems of many Bahnaric and Katuic languages spoken in Xekong province, southern Laos, especially in words which can be regarded as loans from Tai dialects and vice versa. Their derivation which is a type of word formation in Mon-Khmer languages can be traced back to an earlier period. The Proto-Katuic in fixes -arn- and -ai-, and prefixes CaN- and *Car- which indicate nominalization, verbalization, causativization, and reciprocalization, respectively, can be reconstructed.	en
