dc.description.abstract	การสำรวจการใช้คอมพิวเตอร์เพื่อช่วยในการบริหารงานก่อสร้างนี้ แสดงผลการสำรวจเบื้องต้นของการใช้คอมพิวเตอร์ในบริษัทที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการก่อสร้างในประเทศไทย โดยพบว่ามีการนิยามการใช้คอมพิวเตอร์ที่เป็นเครื่องเดียวมากกว่าระบบคอมพิวเตอร์เครือข่าย โดยระบบ DOS และ Window เป็นระบบปฏิบัติการที่นิยมใช้มากที่สุด ซึ่งระบบคอมพิวเตอร์ถูกนำมาใช้งานที่เกี่ยวกับการออกแบบ การเขียนแบบ และการวางแผนงานก่อสร้าง สำหรับการวางแผนงานก่อสร้างนั้น พบว่ายังมีการใช้คอมพิวเตอร์ช่วยในการวางแผนอย่างไม่เหมาะสมคือ มีการใช้โปรแกรมสเปรดชีตในการทำแผนงาน สำหรับโปรแกรมสำหรับการวางแผนงานก่อสร้างที่พบ คือ Microsoft Project และ Primavera โดยโปรแกรมแรกเป็นที่นิยมใช้มาก เนื่องจากการใช้งานง่ายและเหมาะสมกับการบริหารเวลาของโครงการไม่ซับซ้อน ส่วนโปรแกรมหลังมีความละเอียดและมีประสิทธิภาพมาก แต่มีความยุ่งยากต่อการใช้ เหมาะสมกับโครงการขนาดใหญ่ในการบริหารเวลาค่าใช้จ่ายและทรัพยากร ปัญหาที่พบคือ การขาดแคลนบุคลากรที่มีความรู้ด้านคอมพิวเตอร์ และขาดพื้นฐานระบบการทำงานที่ดี รวมทั้งขาดแคลนข้อมูลในเรื่องประสิทธิผลหรืออัตราการทำงานของการดำเนินงานก่อสร้าง	en
dc.description.abstractalternative	The survey of the utilization of computers for facilitating cinstruction management shows the preliminary results of the uses of computers in Thai construction-related firms. The stand-alone computers running on DOS and nWINDOW are still preferable to networking computer systems. Design, drafting and project planning are activities where computers support the most. In case of project planning and scheduling, the uses of spreadsheet software despite of its unsuitability rather than nplanning and scheduling packages for producing a construction schedule are generalyy found. Microsoft Project and Primavera are two most popular planning and scheduling software packages employed in Thai construction industry. The former software is found easy to use and good enough for time management in a small project wheras the latter is complicated but powerful to manage time cost and resource. Additionally, the major problems are the lacj of knowledgeable personnel in computerized planning as well as inadeuacy of systematicworking procedures and productivity information of construction processes.	en
