dc.description.abstract	ในปัจจุบันสื่อสารมวลชนเข้ามามีบทบาทอย่างมากต่อการพัฒนาประเทศโดยเฉพาะในประเทศที่กำลังพัฒนา หนังสือพิมพ์เป็นสื่อมวลชนชนิดหนึ่งซึ่งช่วยให้ผู้อ่านทราบความเคลื่อนไหวของโลกภายนอก ช่วยเพิ่มพูนความรู้และเสริมสร้างทักษะในการอ่าน หนังสือพิมพ์สารผู้ใหญ่เป็นสิ่งพิมพ์ซึ่งจัดทำขึ้นโดยกรมการศึกษานอกโรงเรียน กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ เพื่อเผยแพร่ข่าวสาร ความรู้ที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อชีวิตประจำวันและเพื่อส่งเสริมการอ่าน รวมทั้งป้องกันการลืมหนังสือของประชาชนในชนบท การวิจัยเรื่องนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสัดส่วนของปริมาณการเสนอเนื้อหาสาระของหนังสือพิมพ์สารผู้ใหญ่ในด้านต่าง ๆ เพื่อทราบความคิดเห็นและความต้องการของผู้อ่านหนังสือพิมพ์สารผู้ใหญ่เกี่ยวกับการเสนอเนื้อหาสาระในด้านปริมาณ คุณภาพและประสิทธิภาพ และเพื่อทราบอิทธิพลของหนังสือพิมพ์สารผู้ใหญ่ในด้านการส่งเสริมอาชีพเกษตรกรรม โดยการสัมภาษณ์กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ซึ่งสุ่มจากผู้อ่านหนังสือพิมพ์สารผู้ใหญ่ในจังหวัดราชบุรี จำนวน 307 คน ผลการวิจัยพบว่าการเสนอเนื้อหาสาระด้านการเกษตรของหนังสือพิมพ์สารผู้ใหญ่ ในรอบปี 2522 อยู่ในอันดับที่ 2 ในขณะที่ผู้อ่านหนังสือพิมพ์สารผู้ใหญ่ในจังหวัดราชบุรีส่วนใหญ่มีอาชีพเกษตรกรรมและต้องการเนื้อหาสาระทางด้านการเกษตรเป็นอันดับแรก ในด้านสภาพทั่วไปของหนังสือพิมพ์สารผู้ใหญ่ ผู้อ่านหนังสือพิมพ์สารผู้ใหญ่ในจังหวัดราชบุรีเห็นว่า ขนาดรูปเล่ม การจัดหน้า ขนาดตัวพิมพ์ ภาพประกอบ เนื้อหาสาระ ตลอดจนการให้สีสัน โดยส่วนรวมเหมาะสมดีแล้ว แต่ด้านการใช้ภาษาและสำนวนการเขียนยังไม่ชัดเจน เพราะส่วนใหญ่อ่านแล้วยังไม่เข้าใจบางตอน มีผู้เคยเขียนจดหมายสอบถามข้อข้องใจไปยังหน่วยงานที่รับผิดชอบแต่ได้รับคำตอบน้อยมาก นอกจากนี้ การจัดพิมพ์หนังสือพิมพ์สารผู้ใหญ่ยังล่าช้ากว่ากำหนด อย่างไรก็ตาม หลังจากอ่านหนังสือพิมพ์สารผู้ใหญ่แล้ว ผู้อ่านหนังสือพิมพ์สารผู้ใหญ่ในจังหวัดราชบุรีสามารถนำความรู้ที่ได้ไปใช้ให้เป็นประโยชน์ในชีวิตประจำวันได้เป็นอย่างดี การจัดทำหนังสือพิมพ์สารผู้ใหญ่จึงควรคำนึงถึงระดับความรู้ อาชีพและความต้องการของผุ้อ่านในชนบทเป็นหลัก เนื้อหาสาระควรจะเน้นหนักไปในด้านการเกษตร การเผยแพร่ควรให้เป็นไปตามกำหนดการและควรให้ความสนใจในการตอบปัญหา ข้อข้องใจจองผู้อ่าน รวมทั้งควรมีการติดตามผลและประเมินผลการเผยแพร่ เพื่อประโยชน์ในด้านการปรับปรุงการดำเนินงานให้ดียิ่งขึ้น
dc.description.abstractalternative	Nowadays mass media take an important role in rural development, especially in developing countries. Newspaper is a kind of mass media which informs the readers about everything that has happened all over the world. Moreover, it helps to increase knowledge and create reading skill. “San Phooyai” wallnewspaper is printed material which is produced by Non-formal Education Department, Ministry of Education in order to disseminate available information for daily life; to promote and retain reading skill. The purposes of this study were firstly to investigate the proportion of the “San Phooyai” content in every aspect; secondly, to investigate the opinion of the “San Phooyai” readers towards its content and their need of its content and finally, to investigate the impact of the “San Phooyai” in agricultural extension. The sample were 307 of the “San Phooyai” readers in Ratchaburi Province. The data were collected by using a field work method. The exploratory findings were that agricultural content in the “San Phooyai” in 1979 took the second priority while the “San Phooyai” readers in Ratchaburi Province needed that kind of content as the first priority. In their opinion, the “San Phooyai” was in general good except that there were some difficulties to understand the whole content by the way of writing. There was almost no answer to their letter and the distribution of the “San Phooyai” was rather late. However, they found that the “San Phooyai” was very useful for them to increase their knowledge and to improve their lives. The unit which is responsible to the production of the “San Phooyai” should seriously regard to educational level, profession and need of the rural readers. Its content should be emphasized in agriculture. Its distribution should be on time. The questions or problems of the readers should be carefully answered by the responsible unit. The follow-up and evaluation of its distribution is very necessary for the improvement.
