dc.description.abstract	การจำแนกเม็ดเลือดขาวชนิดต่างๆ จากเลือดจระเข้ 3 พันธุ์ (น้ำจืด น้ำเค็มและพันธุ์ผสม) จำนวน 54 ตัว ย้อมด้วยสีไรท์-จิมซา (Wright Giemsa) และย้อมตรวจหาเอนไซม์แอลคาไลน์ฟอสฟาเตส (alkaline phosphatase) และเพอรอคซิเดส (peroxidase) พบเม็ดเลือดขาวชนิดมีแกรนูล 4 ชนิด คือ เฮดเทโรฟิล (heterohil) อีโอชิโนฟิล (eosinophil) เบโซฟิล (basophil) และเม็ดเลือดขาวที่มีลักษณะเหมือนอซูโรฟิล (azurophil) เฮดเทโรฟิล มีขนาด 9-10 ไมโครเมตร นิวเคลียสรี เอียงชิดของเซลล์ แกรนูลรูปหัวท้ายแหลม พบมีบ้างที่เป็นรูปรีเหมือนหยดน้ำตา มีเอนไซม์แอลคาไลน์ฟอสฟาเตสและเพอรอคซิเดส อีโอชิโนฟิล มีขนาด 8-9 ไมโครเมตร นิวเคลียสกลมหรือรี เอียงชิดขอบเซลล์ มีแกรนูลรูปร่างกลมและแท่งรี พบบ้างที่มีรูปร่างหยดน้ำตาและหัวท้ายแหลม ไม่พบเอนไซม์แอลคาไลน์ฟอสฟาเลสแต่พบเอนไซม์เพอรอคซิเดส เบโซฟิลมีขนาด 9-11 ไมโครเมตร นิวเคลียสกลมอยู่กลางเซลล์ แกรนูลมีรูปร่างกมลหลายขนาด ไม่พบทั้งเอนไซม์แอลคาไลน์ฟอสฟาเตสและเพอรอคซิเดส ส่วนเม็ดเลือดขาวที่มีแกรนูลติดสีอซูโรฟิลิค (อซูโรฟิล) มีขนาด 8-10 ไมโครเมตร นิวเคลียสกลม รูปไข่หรือรูปไตอยู่กลางเซลล์ แกรนูลเล็กละเอียด จะพบมีเอนไซม์แอลคาไลน์ฟอสฟาเตส แต่ไม่มีเอนไซม์เพอรอคซิเดส ส่วนเม็ดเลือดขาวชนิดไม่มีแกรนูลพบ 2 ชนิด คือ โมโนไซท์ (monocyte) และลิมโฟไซท์ (lymphocyte) เซลล์ทั้งสองชนิดมีนิวเคลียสรีหรือรูปไตอยู่เอียงไปข้างหนึ่ง ไซโตปลาสซึมติดสีฟ้าอมเทาและมีลักษณะเป็นฟอง แต่ไซโตปลาสซึมของโมโนไซท์มีปริมาณมากกว่าลิมโฟไซท์มากและลิมโฟไซท์ (6-7 micrometre) มีขนาดเซลล์เล็กกว่าโมโนไซท์ (10-16 micrometre) อาจสับสนลิมโฟไซท์กับทรอมโบไซด์ (thrombocyte) (5-6 micrometre) ได้ ไม่พบเอนไซม์แอลคาไลน์ฟอสฟาเตสและเพอรอคซิเดซในเซลล์ทั้งสามชนิด	en
dc.description.abstractalternative	Blood smear from 54 crocodiles (Crocodylus siamensis, C. porosus and crossbred) are examined after Wright-Giemsa staining. Detection of 4 granulocytes are distinguished: heterophil, eosinophil, basophil and azurophil-liked leukocyte. Heterophil with the size of 9-10 micrometre has oval, eccentric nucleus with mostly spiculate granules and a few tear drop-shaped granules. Heterophil contains both alkaline phosphatase and peroxidase. Eosinophil with the size of 8-9 micrometre has round or oval eccentric nucleus. The round, rod and few tear drop-shaped and spiculate granules are packed in the cytoplasm. Eosinophil is strongly peroxidase positive but devoided of alkaline phosphatase. Basophil is 9-11 micrometre with centrally located round nucleus. Its cytoplasm is full of round various sizes granules and contains neither alkaline phosphatase nor peroxidase activity. Another granulocyte (8-10 micrometre) has centrally located round, oval or kidney shaped nucleus with small amount of fine azurophilic granules. The cytoplasm of this cell gives very strong alkaline phosphatase activity but no peroxidase is detected. Morphological and physiological characteristics of this questionable leukocyte, suggest the possibility that this cell is azurophil. Both monocyte (8-10 micrometre) and lymphocyte (6-7 micrometre) have eccentric oval or kidney-shaped nucleus with blue-grey cytoplasm. Monocyte cyto-plasm is abundant and foamy. The nucleated thrombocyte is small (5-6 micrometre), round cell and often confused with lymphocyte. Neither alkaline phosphatase nor peroxidase is detected in monocyte, lymphocyte or thrombocyte.	en
