dc.description.abstractalternative	ฟังก์ชัน f:[0,infinity)->[0,infinity) จะได้ชื่อว่าเป็นฟังก์ชันที่คงสภาพความเป็นเมตริก ถ้าทุกๆ ปริภูมิเมตริก (X,d) เราได้ fod เป็นเมตริกบน X และฟังก์ชันที่คงสภาพความเป็นเมตริก f จะได้ชื่อว่าเป็นฟังก์ชันที่คงสภาพความเป็นเมตริกอย่างเข้ม ถ้า fod เป็นเมตริกที่สมมูลเชิงโทโพโลยีกับเมตริก d ในงานวิจัยนี้เราศึกษาสมบัติที่สำคัญบางประการของฟังก์ชันที่คงสภาพความเป็นเมตริก และฟังก์ชันที่คงสภาพความเป็นเมตริกอย่างเข้ม โดยเฉพาะที่เกี่ยวกับความบริบูรณ์และความมีขอบเขตเบ็ดเสร็จ
