Abstract:
ศึกษาพฤติกรรมภาวะฟองสบู่ในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย ในช่วงระยะเวลาตั้งแต่เดือนมกราคม 2532 ถึงเดือนธันวาคม 2542 โดยใช้แบบจำลอง Switching Regression ของ Schaller and Van Norden (1997) ซึ่งกำหนดให้ผลตอบแทนส่วนเกินในช่วงเวลาถัดไปนั้นจะเกิดขึ้นได้ 2 รูปแบบ คือ จาก surviving state (ช่วงที่ราคาหลักทรัพย์ที่ซื้อขายในตลาด เบี่ยงเบนออกจากราคาหลักทรัพย์พื้นฐาน) หรือจาก collapsing state (ช่วงที่ราคาหลักทรัพย์ที่ซื้อขายในตลาด ปรับตัวกลับสู่ราคาหลักทรัพย์พื้นฐาน) โดยที่ผลตอบแทนจากการลงทุน และความน่าจะเป็นของการเกิดภายใต้รูปแบบใดนั้น จะขึ้นอยู่กับความแตกต่างจากราคาหลักทรัพย์พื้นฐาน ของราคาหลักทรัพย์ในตลาด ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ภายใต้แบบจำลอง Switching Regression นี้ไม่สามารถที่จะแสดงได้ว่าเกิดภาวะฟองสบู่ขึ้น ในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทยอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ไม่ว่าจะข้อมูลที่ใช้นั้นจะเป็นข้อมูลรายสัปดาห์หรือรายเดือน และแม้กระทั่งได้ปรับเปลี่ยนแบบจำลองออกไปในรูปแบบต่างๆ กัน ไม่ว่าจะเพิ่มตัวแปรหุ่นเพื่อลดข้อจำกัด ในส่วนสมมติฐานของตัวแปรที่ใช้หรือการนำแนวคิดเรื่อง Markov Chains เข้ามาปรับใช้แล้วก็ตาม ซึ่งสาเหตุที่เป็นเช่นนี้ อาจเนื่องมาจากปัญหาในการคำนวณราคาหลักทรัพย์พื้นฐาน และปัญหาข้อจำกัดทางด้านข้อมูลของตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย ทำให้ข้อมูลที่นำมาใช้นั้นมีจำนวนไม่มากเพียงพอ
