dc.description.abstract	ภูเก็ตเป็นศูนย์กลางการท่องเที่ยวทางทะเลที่มีชื่อเสียงระดับโลก มีศักยภาพในการช่วยส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรมการท่องเที่ยวไทย ธุรกิจโรงแรมและสถานพักตากอากาศระดับ 5 ดาว จึงยังคงเกิดขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง ทั้งจากเครือโรงแรมไทยและต่างชาติ โดยมีภูมิทัศน์ที่สวยงามเป็นส่วนสำคัญในการเพิ่มมูลค่า และสร้างเอกลักษณ์ให้แบรนด์โรงแรม ทั้งงานวัสดุพืชพันธุ์และงานพื้นผิวดาดแข็งและสิ่งปลูกสร้าง หากแต่การจะคงสภาพความสวยงามโดยเฉพาะวัสดุพืชพันธุ์ให้ดีอยู่เสมอ จำเป็นต้องมีการดูแลบำรุงรักษาอย่างดี และสม่ำเสมอต่อเนื่อง โดยมีปัจจัยหลายด้านที่เกี่ยวข้อง วิทยานิพนธ์ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการดูแลรักษาภูมิทัศน์สถานพักตากอากาศระดับ 5 ดาว จังหวัดภูเก็ต พื้นที่ศึกษาที่ผ่านเกณฑ์ในการคัดเลือก 3 แห่ง ได้แก่ อนันตรา ไม้ขาว ภูเก็ต วิลล่า บันยัน ทรี รีสอร์ท ภูเก็ต และโรสวู้ด ภูเก็ต มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อรวบรวมข้อมูล ค้นหาอุปสรรคและปัจจัย โดยนำผลจากการทบทวนวรรณกรรม การลงสำรวจพื้นที่ศึกษา การสัมภาษณ์ผู้ออกแบบภูมิทัศน์ ผู้จัดการงานภูมิทัศน์ และผู้ปฏิบัติงานดูแลบำรุงรักษาภูมิทัศน์ มาวิเคราะห์ วิจารณ์ และสรุปผล เพื่อเป็นแนวทางการศึกษาและนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ให้เกิดประโยชน์ต่อไป ผลจากการวิจัย พบว่า ปัจจัยทางธรรมชาติ โดยมีสภาพภูมิอากาศที่มีความชื้นตลอดปี มีฝนตกชุก ไอเค็มจากทะเล ลมมรสุม สภาพดินร่วนปนทราย ความเค็ม และขาดแคลนแหล่งน้ำจืด ประกอบกับปัจจัยด้านนโยบายและมาตรฐานเครือโรงแรม เป็นตัวกำหนดนโยบาย มาตรฐาน และความต้องการต่าง ๆ ตั้งแต่เริ่มพัฒนาโครงการ โดยทั้งสองเป็นปัจจัยตั้งต้นที่ทำให้เกิดข้อจำกัด อุปสรรค ซึ่งส่งผลกระทบต่อปัจจัยด้านอื่น ๆ ได้แก่ ปัจจัยด้านการวางผังบริเวณและการออกแบบ ปัจจัยด้านการเลือกใช้วัสดุพืชพันธุ์ และปัจจัยด้านการจัดการงานดูแลบำรุงรักษาภูมิทัศน์ และมีผลต่อการดูแลบำรุงรักษาภูมิทัศน์สถานพักตากอากาศระดับ 5 ดาว จังหวัดภูเก็ต ตามมา
dc.description.abstractalternative	As one of world’s leading beach escape destinations, Phuket has been playing a key role in promoting the tourism industry of Thailand, enabling the constant rising of new 5-star hotels and resorts both local and international chains. Their hotel images and brand’s signatures are largely owed to the value-added scenic landscape both the material of softscape and hardscape which require good maintenance involving many factors. Factors affecting 5 star resort landscape maintenance in Phuket, namely Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas, Banyan Tree Resort Phuket, and Rosewood Phuket, with the objective to collect the data and finding the obstructions and factors by taking literature reviews, surveys and interviews with the landscape designer, Landscape manager and maintenance workers to analysis, comment and summarize to provide a guideline for further implementations. The research indicates that the natural factors consisting of the humid, rainy, salty and monsoon climate, salty and sandy soil, lack of freshwater sources, including the hotel chain’s policy and standard, are the factors determining the initial policies, standards and needs at the project phase. The obstructions and limitations come from the said factors affecting other aspects such as the site planning, plant materials selection and landscape maintenance management, which eventually affect the landscaping maintenance of the 5-star resorts in Phuket.
