The Thailand Information Center (TIC) of Chulalongkorn University is an information storage and retrieval facility for service to scholars and genuine researchers. The Center is designed to give information on Thailand, with particular emphasis on the behavioral and social sciences and related disciplines. However, much material has also been included on the neighboring countries as well as the great powers. TIC acquires abstracts, indexes and stores documents which contain information of interest to individuals engaged in research on Thailand. Types of documents included are research reports, monographs, surveys, articles from periodicals, maps, theses and dissertations, speeches and symposium and conference proceedings, statistical yearbooks and comparable items, but textbooks, which are generally available through the usual public, governmental or university library channels.
