dc.description.abstract	วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้เป็นการศึกษาต้นทุนและอัตราผลตอบแทนจากการปลูกกานพลู ข้อมูลที่ใช้ในการศึกษาเป็นข้อมูลเบื้องต้นที่ได้จากการสำรวจการปลูกกานพลูปีการเพาะปลูก 2529/2530 ด้วยวิธีการสัมภาษณ์เกษตรกรจำนวน 50 ราย ในอำเภอหลังสวน จังหวัดชุมพร ขนาดเนื้อที่เพาะปลูกอยู่ในระหว่าง 1–5 ไร่ การศึกษาผลตอบแทนจากการปลูกกานพลูของโครงการอายุ 15 ปี ได้ใช้ข้อมูลจริงตั้งแต่เกษตรกรเริ่มปลูกจนต้นกานพลูอายุ 15 ปี ซึ่งเป็นอายุสูงสุดของต้นการพลูที่เกษตรกรปลูกเพื่อการค้า เช่นเดียวกับโครงการอายุ 20 ปี ซึ่งเป็นอายุสูงสุดที่จะให้ผลผลิต ได้ใช้ข้อมูลจากการสัมภาษณ์เกษตรกรสำหรับการปลูกกานพลูระหว่างอายุของต้นจาก 1 ปี ถึง 15 ปี และใช้วิธีกำลังสองน้อยที่สุดในการพยาพรณ์ข้อมูลของปีที่ 16 – 20 เพื่อจะได้ทำการศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ของโครงการ ผลการศึกษา ปรากฏว่าระยะเวลาคืนทุนของโครงการอายุ 15 ปี และ 20 ปีเท่ากัน คือ 6 ปี 1 เดือน มูลค่าปัจจุบันสุทธิของโครงการอายุ 15 ปี เท่ากับ 75,044.70 บาท และ 54.130.12 บาท เมื่ออัตราส่วนลดเป็น 9% และ 12% ตามลำคับ สำหรับโครงการอายุ 20 ปี มูลค่าปัจจุบันสุทธิเท่ากับ 107,721.46 บาท และ 74,276.53 บาท เมื่ออัตราส่วนลดเป็น 9% และ 12% ตามลำดับ อัตราผลตอบแทนที่แท้จริงของโครงการเท่ากับ 35.91% และ 36.95% สำหรับโครงการอายุ 15 ปี และ 20 ปีตามลำดับ ด้วยผลดังกล่าวข้างต้น แสดงว่าโครงการที่ศึกษาให้ผลตอบแทนที่น่าพอใจไม่ว่าอายุของโครงการจะเป็น 15 ปี หรือ 20 ปีก็ตาม	en_US
dc.description.abstractalternative	This thesis is a study on cost and rate of return on investment of clove plantation. The data used in this thesis was based on the survey data derived from the interview of 50 clove growers with plantation areas of 1 – 5 rai each, in Amphur Lungsuaen, Chumporn province, during the crop year 1986/1987 The return on investment of clove plantation for the project life of 15 years was investigated using the survey data of clove plantation from growing to harvesting up to 15 years of productivity. Also under investigation was the rate of return on investment on clove plantation for the project life of 20 years, being the highest commercial productivity period, using the data obtained from the survey for the first fifteen years of production while figures for the period 16th – 20th years were forecast figures obtained through the use of least square methods. The results from the study revealed that the payback period for project life of 15 and 20 years is coincidentally equal that is 6 years and 1 month. The net present value method for 15 years project yielded net present value of 75,044.70 baht and 54,130.12 baht at discount factor of 9% and 12% respectively whereas net present value of 107,721.46 baht and 74,276.53 baht at discount factor of 9% and 12% respectively were obtained for the project life of 20 years. The internal rate of return method showed attractive results with 35.91% and 36.95% for 15 and 20 years project life, respectively. The above results indicate that the project is economically feasible regardless of project life of 15 or 20 years.	en_US
