| Abstract: | การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อจัดทำฐานข้อมูลของระบบสารสนเทศเพื่อการบริหารสำหรับกิจการท่าเรือ และพัฒนาระบบสารสนเทศที่ผู้ใช้งานหลายคนสามารถทำงานได้พร้อมกันในเวลาเดียวกัน ระบบสารสนเทศฯ ที่พัฒนาขึ้นประกอบด้วยระบบคอมพิวเตอร์ 2 ระบบ คือ ระบบคอมพิวเตอร์ระดับใหญ่ ซึ่งจัดเก็บข้อมูลการให้บริการ และระบบข่ายงานบริเวณเฉพาะที่สำหรับจัดทำรายงานสารสนเทศ โดยพัฒนาโปรแกรมบนเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ระดับใหญ่ เพื่อให้สามารถคัดเลือกข้อมูลเฉพาะที่ต้องการ และโอนถ่ายแฟ้มข้อมูลมายังเครื่องบริการแฟ้มข้อมูลในระบบข่ายงานบริเวณเฉพาะที่ในระบบเน็ตแวร์ จากนั้นข้อมูลจะถูกนำเข้าสู่ฐานข้อมูลไมโครซอฟแอกเซสเพื่อประมวลผลข้อมูล และจัดทำระบบสารสนเทศในรูปแบบต่างๆได้โดยใช้ไมโครซอฟเอ็กเซล การวิจัยครั้งนี้ได้พัฒนาโปรแกรมบนระบบคอมพิวเตอร์ระดับใหญ่ 15 โปรแกรม พัฒนาโปรแกรมบนระบบข่ายงานบริเวณเฉพาะที่เพื่อการจัดรูปแบบของข้อมูลจำนวน 7 โปรแกรม และโปรแกรมสำหรับทดลองใช้งานจำนวน 20 โปรแกรม การโอนถ่ายข้อมูล1 เม็กกะไบต์จากระบบคอมพิวเตอร์ระดับใหญ่มาในระบบข่ายงานบริเวณเฉพาะที่ใช้เวลาประมาณ 10 วินาที ข้อมูลประมาณ 1 เม็กกะไบต์การจัดรูปแบบข้อมูลใช้เวลาเฉลี่ย 4 วินาที โปรแกรมใช้งานใช้เวลาประมาณ 15 วินาทีในการจัดสร้าง การพัฒนารายงานต่างๆจะสามารถกระทำได้ภายในครึ่งชั่วโมง |
| Other Abstract: | The objective of the research is to develop a MIS on multiuser systems. The development of MIS of the thesis was designed and implemented on the existing hardware and software of the Port Authority of Thailand. The data were collected by transfering from the mainframe or by data entry. The MIS machine was designed on the multiuser file server run under Netware. The selected items of data from the mainframe could automatically transfer to the server. And after that the data will be converted to text format and imported to Microsoft Access database. And can be easily exported to Microsoft Excel for creating needed MIS. From the thesis found that 15 programs were needed to select the data items from mainframe, 7 programs on the network for converted the data to text files. And 20 programs were tested to generate the MIS. The system took about 10 seconds to transfer 1 MB of data from the mainframe to the server, and 4 seconds to reformat 1 MB, 15 seconds to produce MIS. The development of the application could be done within half an hour. |
