| Abstract: | การวิจัยครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสำรวจความสนใจในอาชีพของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 และชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ปีการศึกษา 2527 ในภาคกลาง โดยจำแนกตามระดับชั้นเรียน เพศของนักเรียน ระดับสัมฤทธิผลทางการเรียนของนักเรียน อาชีพของบิดา อาชีพของมารดา ระดับการศึกษาของบิดามารดา ระดับรายได้ของบิดามารดาและระดับความเข้าใจถูกต้องเกี่ยวกับลักษณะงานที่ทำและความรู้ความสามารถที่จะต้องใช้ในอาชีพที่นักเรียนสนใจ กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้ เป็นนักเรียนในภาคกลาง ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 จำนวน 1,088 คน เป็นนักเรียนชาย 548 คน และนักเรียนหญิง 540 คน และเป็นนักเรียนชั้นปีที่ 6 จำนวน 654 คน เป็นนักเรียนชาย 301 คน และนักเรียนหญิง 353 คน โดยใช้วิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบแบ่งชั้นหลายขั้นตอน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถามความสนใจในอาชีพที่ผู้วิจัยและคณะ ร่วมกันสร้างขึ้น ประกอบด้วย 2 ส่วน คือ แบบสอบถามเกี่ยวกับข้อมูลส่วนตัวของนักเรียน และแบบสอบถามความสนใจในอาชีพ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ การคำนวณค่าร้อยละของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 และชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ที่สนใจในอาชีพต่าง ๆ ผลการสำรวจแสดงให้เห็นว่า 1. นักเรียนชายและนักเรียนหญิงชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 และชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 สนใจอาชีพ วิชาการ มากที่สุดในทั้ง 3 อันดับความสนใจในอาชีพ 2. เมื่อพิจารณารายอาชีพที่นักเรียนสนใจมากที่สุด 5 อันดับแรกของความสนใจในอาชีพอันดับที่ 1 พบว่า นักเรียนชายชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 สนใจอาชีพ ช่างเทคนิควิศวกรรมไฟฟ้า ตำรวจ แพทย์ และวิศวกร ตามลำดับ และนักเรียนหญิงชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 สนใจในอาชีพ พยาบาล แพทย์ เลขานุการ พนักงานธนาคาร และครู ตามลำดับ สำหรับนักเรียนชายชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 สนใจในอาชีพ ตำรวจ ทหาร วิศวกร ค้าขายมีกิจการของตนเอง และช่างเทคนิควิศวกรรมไฟฟ้า ตามลำดับ และนักเรียนหญิงชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 สนใจอาชีพ พยาบาล มากที่สุด รองลงมาคือ อาชีพครู และค้าขายมีกิจการของตนเอง อาชีพถัดมาได้แก่ เภสัชกร เลขานุการ และมัคคุเทศก์ ในจำนวนที่เท่ากัน นอกจากนั้นยังสนใจอาชีพพนักงานธนาคาร และนักธุรกิจ ตามลำดับ 3. นักเรียนชายและนักเรียนหญิงชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 และชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ที่บิดามารดาประกอบอาชีพในหมวดอาชีพใดก็ตาม นักเรียนจะสนใจอาชีพหมวดวิชาชีพ วิชาการมากที่สุดในทั้ง 3 อันดับความสนใจในอาชีพ 4. นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 และชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ที่มีระดับสัมฤทธิผลทางการเรียน ระดับการศึกษาของบิดามารดา และระดับรายได้ของบิดามารดา ในระดับสูง ปานกลาง และต่ำ ต่างก็สนใจอาชีพหมวดวิชาชีพ วิชาการ มากที่สุดในทั้ง 3 อันดับความสนใจในอาชีพ 5. เมื่อพิจารณาเหตุผลของความสนใจในอาชีพอันดับที่ 1 คือในหมวดวิชาชีพ วิชาการซึ่งนักเรียนสนใจมากที่สุด พบว่า นักเรียนชายชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 และชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ให้เหตุผลว่าเป็นอาชีพที่รายได้ดี มีค่าตอบแทนสูงมากที่สุด สำหรับนักเรียนหญิงชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 และชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ให้เหตุผลว่าเป็นอาชีพ ที่ได้ช่วยเหลือผู้อื่น อันเป็นประโยชน์ต่อสังคมและประเทศชาติมากที่สุด 6. นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่3 และชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 มีความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับลักษณะงานที่ทำ และความรู้ความสามารถที่ต้องใช้ในอาชีพที่นักเรียนสนใจเป็นอันดับที่ 1 ในระดับดี |
| Other Abstract: | The purpose of this study was to survey the vocational interests of Mathayom Suksa Three and Mathayom Suksa Six students in the Central Region for the Academic Year 1984, according to the following variables: class level, sex, students’ level of achievement, fathers’ occupation, mothers’ occupation, parental levels of education, parental level of income, students’ level of proper understanding of job, knowledge and capability required for occupations in which students are interested. The subjects for this survey were 1,088 Mathayom Suksa Three students (548 boys and 540 girls) and 654 Mathayom Suksa Six students (301 boys and 353 girls), selected by multiple stratified random sampling. For data collection, the researcher along with the cooperation from five graduate students collected data through a questionnaire developed by the Team of researchers. The questionnaire consisted of two parts; the first part dealt with students’ personal data and the second parts; the first part dealt with students’ personal data and the second part dealt with students’ vocational interests. Data on vocational interests of Mathayom Suksa Three and Mathayom Suksa Six students were computerized and analyzed through percentages. The findings of the study are as follows: 1. Both boys and girls in Mathayom Suksa Three and Six show the highest degree of vocational interest for the first, the second and the third order of preference in the Professional-Technical occupations. 2. The students’ vocational interests for each occupation among Mathayom Suksa Three students are as follow: boys are most interested in Armed Forces, Electrical Technicians, Policemen, Physicians and Engineers, respectively, whereas girls prefer Nurses, Physicians, Secretaries, Bank officers and Teachers, respectively. Boy form Mathayom Suksa Six : Policemen, Armed Forces, Engineers, Self employed business and Electrical Technicians, respectively, and girls prefer Nurses, Teachers, Self employed business, Pharmacist, Secretaries, Tourist guides, Bank officers and Business. 3. For all three orders of vocational interests among boys and girls in Mathayom Suksa Three and Six, with respect to the variables of parental careers, the subjects also show preferences to the Professional-Technical occupations. 4. In the comparison among the variables of parental levels of education and income and the students’ level of academic achievement, it was shown that Professional-Technical occupations are highly attracted to the students at both levels. 5. When considering reasons for vocational interests in the Professional-Technical occupations, Mathayom Suksa Three and Mathayom Suksa Six boy students mention high remuneration and girl students mention devotion to others, to the community and to the country. 6. For vocational interests in the first order of preference, boy and girls for both Mathayom Suksa Three and Six show a high level of proper understandings of the nature of the job and a high level of knowledge of the abilities required for those particular occupations. |
