| Abstract: | วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้ เป็นรายงานศึกษาเบื้องต้นสำหรับการพัฒนาชุมชน หรือความเจริญเติบโตของชุมชนในเขตเทศบาลเมืองปทุมธานีและบริเวณใกล้เคียง ซึ่งเป็นบริเวณที่จะมีความสำคัญของประเทศในอนาคต ทั้งนี้เพราะทำเลที่ตั้งของเทศบาลเมืองปทุมธานีหรือศูนย์กลางของอำเภอเมืองปทุมธานีในปัจจุบันมีความเหมาะสมในการที่จะพัฒนาให้เป็นเมืองบริวารของกรุงเทพมหานคร หรือเป็นย่านอุตสาหกรรมที่อยู่ไม่ไกลจากกรุงเทพมหานคร วัตถุประสงค์และขอบเขคในการศึกษาประการแรกคือ เพื่อศึกษาประวัติความเป็นมา สภาพพื้นฐานทางด้านกายภาพ ประชากร เศรษฐกิจและสังคมของชุมชน ประการที่สอง เพื่อศึกษาการพัฒนาของชุมชนตั้งแต่อดีตจนถึงปัจุจบันโดยเน้นหน้กด้านการใช้ที่ดินของชุมชน ประการที่สาม คาดคะเนการใช้ที่ดินของชุมชนในอนาคตและหาทิศทางการขยายตัวของชุมชน และประการสุดท้าย เสนอการใช้ที่ดินของชุมชนให้เหมาะสมตามหลักวิชาการวางผังเมือง ปัจจุบันชุมชนเทศบาลเมืองปทุมธานีตั้งอยู่ริมฝั่งตะวันตกของแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยาทางเหนือของกรุงเทพมหานครประมาณ 30 กิโลเมตร ไม่มีเส้นทางคมนาคมสายตรงที่จะเชื่อมชุมชนสองฟากแม่น้ำของจังหวัด ทำให้ชุมชนด้านตะวันตกถูกตัดขาดจากทางหลวงแผ่นดินสายสำคัญที่จะไปสู่ภาคเหนือและภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ทำให้ชุมชนเมืองปทุมธานีไม่สามารถจะรองรับความเจริญเติบโตของกรุงเทพมหานครได้ดีเท่าที่ควร ดังนั้น ผู้วิจัยจึงได้ทำการศึกษาถึงการใช้ที่ดินของเทศบาลเมืองปทุมธานี โดยพิจารณาจากรูปถ่ายทางอากาศต่างวาระเพื่อประกอบการพิจารณาหาแนวโน้มการใช้ที่ดิน โดยกำหนดทางเลือกไว้ 2 ทางเลือก คือ กรณีที่ไม่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงพื้นฐานทางด้านการคมนาคม พบว่าชุมชนนี้ต้องใช้พื้นที่ประมาณ 5 ตารางกิโลเมตร ส่วนอีกกรณี ถ้ามีการเปลี่ยนแปลงโครงสร้างพื้นฐานการคมนาคม เช่น การสร้างสะพานเชื่อม 2 ฟากแม่น้ำใกล้ชุมชน พบว่าจะใช้พื้นที่สำหรับชุมชนเมืองปทุมธานีเพิ่มอีก 20% และในกรณีนี้คาดว่าจะเป็นผลดีในด้านการรองรับความเติบโตของกรุงเทพมหานคร หรือเป็นเมืองบริวารของกรุงเทพมหานคร |
| Other Abstract: | This thesis embodied a preliminary report on the study of development communities or the growth of communities in the Municipality of Pathum Thani and the area surroundings which are very important for the country in the future. This is because the site of the Municipality of Pathum Thani or the centre of Changwat Pathum Thani is now appropriated to be developed as one of a satellite town of the Bangkok Metropolis or the industrial land that is not very far from Bangkok the capital. The aims and scopes of this thesis are: First to study historical background physical features, population, economical and social of the communities. Second, to study the development of communities in the past and up to present emphasizing on land use of the communities.Third, to estimate the land use in the future to know the extension of the communities. The last aim is to present the pattern of land use develop by urban planning. At present the Municipality of Pathum Thani is situated on the western part of the Cho Phya River about 30 km north of Bangkok. There is no direct way to join the communities on both sides of the river and that causes the communities in the western part to be cut from main highways of North and the North-East. So the communities cannot get the profit of Bangkok growth as they should. One who studies the research, therefore, has studied about and tried to find the best way to use the land in the Municipality of Pathum Thani, depending on a lot of aerial photographs at different times. In this case be point out two ways to the solutions: 1. If there is no change of communication struction in the area, community will be require 5.2 square kilometres. 2. If the communication structure is changed, for instant, some bridges are built to join both banks of the river, the land use must be in crease more 20 percent of the first case and then it will effect a lot to Changwat Pathum Thani or getting advantage of the Bangkok growth. |
