| Abstract: | การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมาย เพี่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างการใช้สื่อมวลชนกับความรู้เรื่อง สิ่งแวดล้อมเองประชาชนในอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษามีจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 300 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล ได้แก่ แบบสอบถาม การวิ เคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้การ แจกแจงความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย การหาค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน การหาค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบพาร์เชียล และการวิเคราะห์ถดถอยพหุคูณ ซึ่งประมวลผลโดยคอมพิวเตอร์โปรแกรม สำเร็จรูป SPSSx ผลการวิจัยมีดังต่อไปนี้ 1.ประชาชน 1 ใน 3 อ่านหนังสือพิมพ์แบบเจาะจงในระดับปานกลาง ประชาชนเกือบครึ่ง อ่านหนังสือพิมพ์แบบทั่วไปในระดับมากที่สุด ประเภทของข่าวสารที่ประชาชนนิยมอ่านมากที่สุด ได้แก่ ข่าวหน้าหนึ่ง ส่วนการดูโทรทัศน์นั้น ประชาชนเกือบ 1 ใน 3 ดูโทรทัศน์แบบเจาะจงในระดับปานกลาง ประชาชนส่วนใหญ่ดูโทรทัศน์แบบทั่วไปในระดับมากที่สุด ประ เภทของข่าวสารที่ประชาชนนิยมดูมากที่สุด ได้แก่รายการข่าว และวิเคราะห์ข่าว 2.การอ่านหนังสือพิมพ์และการดูโทรทัศน์ทั้งแบบเจาะจงและแบบทั่วไปมีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกกับความรู้เรื่องสิ่งแวดล้อม แต่การอ่านหนังสือพิมพ์แบบเจาะจงมีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกกับความรู้เรื่องสิ่งแวดล้อมสูงกว่าการอ่านหนังสือพิมพ์แบบทั่วไป และการดูโทรทัศน์แบบ เจาะจงมีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกกับความรู้เรื่องสิ่งแวดล้อมสูงกว่าการดูโทรทัศน์แบบทั่วไป 3.ระดับการศึกษามีความสัมพันธ์เชิงบวกกับความรู้เรื่องสิ่งแวดล้อม 4.การอ่านหนังสือพิมพ์และการดูโทรทัศน์ทั้งแบบเจาะจงและแบบทั่วไปยังคงมีความสัมพันธ์ เชิงบวกกับความรู้เรื่องสิ่งแวดล้อม เมื่อควบคุมระดับการศึกษา 5.การอ่านหนังสือพิมพ์และการดูโทรทัศน์แบบ เจาะจงสามารถใช้เป็นดัชนีอธิบายความรู้ เรื่องสิ่งแวดล้อมได้ดีที่สุด รองลงมาได้แก่ระดับการศึกษา และการอ่านหนังสือพิมพ์และการดูโทรทัศน์แบบทั่วไปตามลำดับ |
| Other Abstract: | The purpose of this study was to examine the correlation between mass media use and environment knowledge of the people in Amphoe Muang, Chiang Mai. Questionnaires were used to collect data from a total of 300 samples. Frequency, percentage, mean, Pearson's product moment correlation coefficient, partial correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression were employed for the analysis of data. SPSSx program was used for data processing. The results of the study were as follows: 1. One-third of the people specifically read environment topics from newspapers at moderate level. Nearly 50 % of the people read general topics from newspapers at the highest level. Reading the front-page news was preferred by most of them. Nearly one-third of the people specifically watched environment topics from televisions at moderate level. Most of them watched general topics from televisions at the highest level. Watching news and news criticism programs were preferred by most of the people. 2. Both specific and general use of newspapers and televisions positively correlated with environment knowledge. But specific reading correlated with environment knowledge higher than did general reading. Specific watching correlated with environment knowledge higher than did general watching. 3. Educational level positively correlated with environment knowledge. 4. Both specific and general use of newspapers and televisions still positively correlated with environment knowledge when educational level was controlled. 5. Priorities of variables able to explain environment knowledge were specific use of newspapers and televisions, educational level and general use of newspapers and televisions respectively. |
