dc.description.abstractการวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาหัวเรื่องภาษาไทยสาขาสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์จากหนังสือหัวเรื่องภาษาไทย 3 เล่ม และจากหัวเรื่องที่บรรณารักษ์กำหนดขึ้นใช้เองเปรียบเทียบกับหัวเรื่องในหนังสือหัวเรื่องมาตรฐาน คือ “L.C. subject headings” และ “Sears list of subject headings” 2) ศึกษาปัญหาการให้หัวเรื่องภาษาไทยในสาขาสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ของบรรณารักษ์และรวบรวมตารางหัวเรื่องย่อยภาษาไทยสาขาสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์เช่นเดียวกับ Free-floating tables ของ “L.C. subject headings” จากหัวเรื่องภาษาไทยที่บรรณารักษ์กำหนดขึ้นใช้เองจำนวน 1,182 หัวเรื่อง พบว่า หัวเรื่องจำนวน 955 หัวเรื่องเป็นไปตามเกณฑ์โครงสร้างของหัวเรื่อง ผลการวิจัยข้อนี้ไม่ตรงกับสมมติฐานข้อ 1 ที่ว่า หัวเรื่องใหญ่และหัวเรื่องย่อยที่บรรณารักษ์กำหนดขึ้นใช้เองนั้นมีลักษณะต่างๆ ไม่เป็นไปในแนวเดียวกันหัวเรื่องที่บรรณารักษ์กำหนดขึ้นใช้มีลักษณะทางาภาษาเป็นคำนามหรือบางหัวเรื่องใช้ศัพท์แตกต่างกันแต่มีความหมายพ้องกันก็มี ผลการวิจัยจึงเป็นไปตามสมมติฐานข้อ 2 ว่า หัวเรื่องภาษาไทยที่บรรณารักษ์กำหนดขึ้นใช้เองจะสอดคล้องกับหนังสือหัวเรื่องมาตรฐานเป็นส่วนใหญ่ ปัญหาที่บรรณารักษ์ส่วนใหญ่ประสบ ได้แก่ หัวเรื่องภาษาไทยสาขาสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ที่มีอยู่ในหนังสือหัวเรื่องมีน้อยโดยเฉพาะหัวเรื่องย่อย ดังนั้น งานวิจัยนี้ได้เสนอตารางหัวเรื่องย่อยภาษาไทย สาขาสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์เพื่อใช้แก้ปัญหาข้อนี้ด้วย
dc.description.abstractalternativeThe purposes of this research were:- 1) To compare Thai subject headings in Architecture from three manuals, and Thai subject headings assigned by librarians with subject headings in standard manuals; “L.C. subject headings” and “Sears list of subject headings” 2) To study problems of librarians in their use of Thai subject headings in this field and compile a list of sub-headings, similar to the Free-floating tables of “L.C. subject headings.” It was found that 955 out of 1,182 Thai subject headings assigned by librarians were consistent in the structure. The finding rejected the first hypothesis that main and sub-headings were at variance. For language structures, nouns or sometimes their synonyms were used, and this finding proved the second hypothesis that Thai subject headings assigned by librarians corresponded with standard manuals. An important problem faced by librarians was the inadequacy of Thai subject headings in Architecture, especially the lack of sub-headings. To solve the problem, a list of Thai sub-headings in Architecture was suggested as a result of the research.
