| Abstract: | วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัยครั้งนี้เพื่อทราบถึงฐานะทางสังคม-เศรษฐกิจและความพึงพอใจของผู้ป่วย และลักษณะการใช้บริการรักษาพยาบาลในโรงพยาบาลของรัฐและเอกชน ตลอดจนความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างฐานะทางสังคม-เศรษฐกิจกับลักษณะการใช้บริการรักษาพยาบาล และความพึงพอใจของผู้ป่วย จากการวิจัยพบว่า ผู้ป่วยที่มีฐานะทางสังคม-เศรษฐกิจแตกต่างกันจะเลือกโรงพยาบาลต่างกัน โดยพบตัวแปรที่ชัดเจนคือ เพศ อายุ สถานภาพการสมรส อาชีพ การศึกษา รายได้ และเชื้อสาย และผู้ป่วยที่มีฐานะทางสังคม-เศรษฐกิจแตกต่างกัน จะเลือกอัตราค่าห้องต่างกัน โดยที่ในโรงพยาบาลเลิดสินพบตัวแปรที่แสดงความสัมพันธ์ชัดเจนคือเพศ อายุ สถานภาพการสมรส อาชีพ การศึกษา รายได้ เชื้อสายและศาสนา กรณีโรงพยาบาลกรุงเทพคริสเตียนพบว่า ตัวแปรที่ชัดเจนคือ อายุ การศึกษา รายได้ และศาสนา และพบว่าผู้ป่วยที่มีฐานะทางสังคม-เศรษฐกิจแตกต่างกัน จะมีความพึงพอใจในบริการที่ได้รับไม่แตกต่างกัน นั่นคือ แสดงความพอใจต่อบริการที่ได้รับทั้งสองโรงพยาบาล นอกจากนี้จากการวิจัยพบว่าประสพการณ์การเคยเข้ารับบริการรักษาในโรงพยาบาลปัจจุบันการรู้จักเจ้าหน้าที่และการได้รับคำแนะนำจากผู้อื่น มีความสัมพันธ์ที่เด่นชัดกับการเลือกโรงพยาบาลโดยพบทั้งสองโรงพยาบาล ส่วนกรณีการเลือกอัตราค่าห้องประสพการณ์ การได้รับคำแนะนำจากผู้อื่น ไม่แสดงความสัมพันธ์ที่เด่นชัด และพบว่าประสพการณ์ทางสังคมทั้ง 3 ประการ แสดงความสัมพันธ์ที่ไม่เด่นชัดต่อความพึงพอใจของผู้ป่วยเช่นเดียวกัน |
| Other Abstract: | The purpose of this research is to compare socio-economic status of patients at government and private hospitalsin Bangkok Metropolis, their choices of hospital room rates and their satisfication with medical treatment and other services received during hospitalization. It was found that socio-economic status had important effect on hospitalization ; i.e. 7 variables (sex, age, status of marriage, occupation, education, income and race) were related with the kind of hospital chosen, 8 variables (sex, age, status of marriage, occupation, education, income, race and religion) were related with the choice of room of different rates in a government hospital while only 4 variables (age, education, income and religion) were found to be related with the choice in the case of a private hospital. Socio-economic status of patients did not effect their satification of medical treatment and service received. Almost of all patients at both the government and private hospitals indicated a high level of satisfication. It was also found that the choice of hospitals was related with 3 variables having to do with 1) previous experience of hospitalization at the chosen hospital, 2) having personel relationship with the staff of the chosen hospital, 3) having been recommended by others. One variable (having been recommendes) was not related with the choice of rooms of different rates while 3 variables were not related with the satisfication of the medical treatment and services recieved. |
