Abstract:	Extraction of Pluchea indica Less. leaves (Compositae) afforded 3 –(2’, 3’ –diacetoxy-2’-methyl butyryl)-cuauhtemone, a new eudesmane derivative. The structure has been established through 400 MHz proton nmr spectroscopy and chemical correlation.
