| Abstract: | การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาทัศนคติของเด็กวัย 9 ถึง 14 ปี ต่อหนังสือภาษาไทยสำหรับเด็กฉบับชนะการประกวด ในด้านเนื้อหา ภาพประกอบ และการใช้ภาษา กลุ่มประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้คือ หนังสือภาษาไทยสำหรับเด็กฉบับชนะการประกวดและได้รับรางวัล ตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2524-พ.ศ. 2527 จำนวน 18 เรื่อง ส่วนกลุ่มตัวอย่างซึ่งได้มาโดยวิธีสุ่มอย่างง่าย ประกอบด้วยนักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษา (ป.4-6) และมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น (ม. 1-3) จำนวน 300 คน เป็นนักเรียนชาย 150 คนและนักเรียนหญิง 150 คน จากโรงเรียนเทศบาลปากพนัง 1 โรงเรียนสตรีปากพนัง และโรงเรียนปากพนัง ในจังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ คือ หนังสือภาษาไทยสำหรับเด็กระดับประถมศึกษาประเภทบันเทิงคดีจำนวน 4 เรื่อง คือ เปลือกหอยกับความสุข จ้าวป่า หมีใหญ่ผจญภัย และต้นไม่มีเพื่อมีคุณภาพด้านเนื้อหา การใช้ภาษา ภาพประกอบ และมีค่าเฉลี่ยทั้งสามด้านอยู่ในระดับดีมากหรือเด็กชอบมากที่สุดทั้งสี่เรื่อง สำหรับหนังสือภาษาไทยสำหรับเด็กระดับประถมศึกษาประเภทคำประพันธ์จำนวน 2 เรื่อง คือ ธรรมชาติคือครู และ ก ข ขับขานมีคุณภาพด้านเนื้อหา การใช้ภาษา ภาพประกอบ และมีค่าเฉลี่ยทั้งสามด้านอยู่ในระดับดีมากหรือเด็กชอบมากที่สุดทั้งสองเรื่อง ส่วนหนังสือภาษาไทยสำหรับเด็กระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น (ระดับเด็กก่อนวัยรุ่น) ประเภทบันเทิงคดี 4 เรื่อง ประเภทสารคดี 4 เรื่อง และประเภทคำประพันธ์ 4 เรื่อง มีเนื้อหาอยู่ในระดับดีมากหรือเด็กชอบมากที่สุด 7 เรื่อง (บันเทิงคดี 3 เรื่อง คือ ขนำน้อยกลางทุ่งนา ลูกป่า และเพื่อนแท้ สารคดี 1 เรื่อง คือ ว่าวไทย และคำประพันธ์ 3 เรื่อง คือ นิทานภาพพุทธรักษา หญิงดี และสักวาสุภาษิต) อยู่ในระดับดีหรือเด็กชอบมาก 4 เรื่อง (บันเทิงคดี 1 เรื่อง คือ เหยี่ยวขาด้วน สารคดี 2 เรื่อง คือ ชีวิตใต้ทะเลไทยและเปลือกหอยของไทย และ คำประพันธ์ 1 เรื่อง คือ สาวรุ่น) มีการใช้ภาษาอยู่ในระดับดีมากหรือเด็กชอบมากที่สุด 11 เรื่อง (บันเทิงคดี 4 เรื่อง คือ ขนำน้อยกลางทุ่งนา ลูกป่า เพื่อนแท้ และเหยี่ยวขาด้วน สารคดี 3 เรื่อง คือ ชีวิตใต้ทะเลไทย เปลือกหอยของไทย และเที่ยววัดโพธิ์ และ คำประพันธ์ 4 เรื่อง คือ นิทานภาพพุทธรักษา หญิงดี สักวาสุภาษิต และสาวรุ่น) อยู่ในระดับดีหรือเด็กชอบมาก 1 เรื่อง คือ ว่าวไทย (สารคดี) และมีภาพประกอบอยู่ในระดับดีมากหรือเด็กชอบมากที่สุด 6 เรื่อง (บันเทิงคดี 1 เรื่อง คือ เพื่อนแท้ สารคดี 3 เรื่อง คือ ชีวิตใต้ทะเลไทย เปลือกหอยของไทย และ เที่ยววัดโพธิ์ และ คำประพันธ์ 2 เรื่อง คือ หญิงดี และสักวาสุภาษิต) อยู่ในระดับดีหรือเด็กชอบมาก 3 เรื่อง (บันเทิงคดี 1 เรื่อง คือ เหยี่ยวขาด้วน และคำประพันธ์ 2 เรื่อง คือ นิทานภาพพุทธรักษา และสาวรุ่น) เมื่อพิจารณาทั้งสามด้านปรากฏว่า มีหนังสือที่มีคุณภาพอยู่ในระดับดีมากหรือเด็กชอบมากที่สุด 9 เรื่อง (บันเทิงคดี 3 เรื่อง คือ ขนำน้อยกลางทุ่งนา ลูกป่า และเพื่อนแท้ สารคดี 3 เรื่อง คือ ชีวิตใต้ทะเลไทย เหลือกหอยของไทย และเที่ยวัดโพธิ์ และ คำประพันธ์ 3 เรื่อง คือ นิทานภาพพุทธรักษา หญิงดี และสักวาสุภาษิต) อยู่ในระดับดีหรือเด็กชอบมาก 3 เรื่อง (บันเทิงคดี 1 เรื่อง คือ เหยี่ยวขาด้วน สารคดี 1 เรื่อง คือ ว่าวไทย และ คำประพันธ์ 1 เรื่อง คือ สาวรุ่น) ผลการวิจัยนี้สอดคล้องกับสมมติฐานที่ว่า ลักษณะเนื้อหา ภาพประกอบ และการใช้ภาษาของหนังสือสำหรับเด็กฉบับชนะการประกวดและได้รับรางวัลนั้นตรงกับความต้องการและความสนใจในการอ่านของเด็ก จากผลการวิจัยนี้ผู้วิจัยได้ให้ข้อเสนอแนะดังนี้ คือ สำนักพิมพ์หรือผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการจัดทำหนังสือสำหรับเด็กควรจัดทำภาพประกอบของหนังสือให้มีความสวยงามมีชีวิตชีวา ดึงดูดความสนใจ มีความสอดคล้องกับเนื้อเรื่อง มีขนาดเหมาะสมกับวัยและมีความถูกต้องตามความเป็นจริง ทั้งนี้เพราะภาพประกอบจะเป็นองค์ประกอบที่มีความสำคัญต่อความสนใจในการอ่านของเด็ก นอกจากนั้นบรรณารักษ์ควรพยายามส่งเสริมให้เด็กได้รู้จักหรือได้อ่านหนังสือดีเหล่านี้ให้มากยิ่งขึ้น เช่น จัดนิทรรศการ หนังสือ เล่านิทาน เป็นต้น |
| Other Abstract: | The purpose of this research was to study the attitudes of 9-14 years old children towards the Thai award-winning books for children especially in their contents, illustrations and language usages. The 18 books used as research population were the Thai award-winning books for children especially in their contents, illustrations and language usages. The 18 books used as research population were the Thai award-winning books for children from 1981 to 1984. The samples selected by Simple Random Sampling techniques were 300 children, 150 boys and 150 girls, enrolled on pratom 4, 5 and 6 in Tesaban Pakpanang 1 School and Matayom Suksa 1,2 and 3 in Satripakpanang School and Pakpanang School. These schools are in Nakhon Si Thammarat. The results of the research are four titles of fiction: Pluakhoikapkhwamsuk, Chowpa, Neeyaiphachonphai and Tonmaimiphuan for the elementary pupils are rated that their contents, usages of language and illustrations and the three criteria as a whole are very good or the pupils like most. Two titles of verse: Thammachatkhuekhru and K kh khapknan for the elementary pupils are rated that their contents, usages of language and illustrations and the three criteria as a whole are very good or the pupils like most. Four titles of fiction, four titles of non-fiction and four titles of verse for the secondary pupils are rated that seven titles are very good on content (one non-fiction: Waothai, three fiction: Khanamnoiklangthungna, Lukpa and Phuanthae and three verse: Nithanphapphutaraks, Yingdee and Sakawasuphasit). Four titles are rated good (two non-fiction: Chiwittaithalethai and Pluakhoikhongthai, one fiction: Yieokhadoan and one verse: Sowrun). Considering their usages of language, eleven titles are rated very good (four fiction: Khanamnoiklangthungna, Lukpa, Fhuanthae and Yieokhadoan, three non-fiction: Chiwittaithalethai, Pluakhoikhongthai and Thieowatpho and four verse: Nithanphap phutaraks, Yingdee, Sakawasuphasit and Sowrun). One title is rated good (non-fiction: Waothai). As for their illustrations, six titles are rated very good (three non-fiction: Chiwittaithalethai, Pluakhoikhongtahi and Thieowatpho, one fiction: Phuanthae and two verse: Yingdee and Sakawasuphasit). Three titles are rated good (one fiction: Yieokhadoan and two verse: Nithanphapphutaraksa and Sowrun). Considering the three criteria as a whole, it was found that nine titles are rated very good (three fiction: Khanamnoiklangthungna, Lukpa and Phuanthae, three non-fiction: Chiwittaithalethai, Pluakhoikhongthai and Thieowatpho and three verse: Nithanphapphutaraksa, Yingdee and Sakawasuphasit). Three titles are rated good (one non-fiction: Waothai, one fiction: Yieokhadoan and one verse: Sowrun). The result of the research meets the hypothesis that the aspects of the content, illustration and language usage. of the Thai award-winning books meet the children’s interest and need. The researcher recommends that the publishers and those who concern with producing children’s books should create beautiful and lively illustration in order to attract children’s attention. Moreover, illustration ought to harmonize with content and be at the right size for children at various age levels and realistic, because illustration is an important factor in children’s reading interests. Besides, librarians should encourage children to read more Thai award-winning books for children. |
