Other Abstract:	The article describes the “Talk and Chalk” and “Instructional Television : ITV” teaching methods discussing their advantages and disadvantages. To overcome the disadvantages, the Teacher Oriented Televised Education (TOTE) was devised. It is considered more practical and more effective than the two methods discussed earlier. The Characteristics of TOTE ate discussed and a picture of TOTE Studio/classroom is shown.
