dc.description.abstract	การใช้ 6% glyceryl guaiacolate ร่วมกับ 0.2% thiopentone sodium ภายหลัง premedication ด้วย atropine sulphate กับ azaperone หรือกับ propionyl promazine เพื่อวางยาสลบสุกร ทำให้เกิดการสลบใกล้เคียงกับ metomidate แต่ analgesic effect ด้อยกว่าการสลบจาก thiopentone sodium โดยเหตุที่ต้องใช้ส่วนผสมนี้ฉีดในปริมาตรที่สูงมาก จึงยังไม่ควรนำมาใช้ในการวางยาสลบสุกร เพื่อการปฏิบัติทางศัลยกรรม หรือเพื่อการใช้ทางคลินิก	en
dc.description.abstractalternative	In this study, three anesthetic agents were compared in pigs wighing 15 to 50 Kg. The agents used were : 1) 10% thiopentone sodium given intravenously; 2) 0.2% thiopentone sodium in 6% glyceryl guaiacolate; 3) metomidate given intravenously. Similar and routine preanesthetic medication was also administered to each pig. Thiopentone sodium provided most clinically complete stage of surgical anesthesia. The other two methods provided clinically longer period of muscle relaxation but analgesic effect was much more inferior to that of the first. Volumenous and rapid injection of thiopentone sodium glyceryl guaiacolate mixture made this method unsuitable for clinical application in the pigs.	en
