| Abstract: | การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการพูดภาษาอังกฤษจากการทำกิจกรรมการสัมภาษณ์และการพูดบรรยายเหตุการณ์จากภาพ และเพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการพูดภาษาอังกฤษจากการทำกิจกรรมเดียวกัน แต่ในหัวข้อเรื่องที่แตกต่างกัน ของนักศึกษาระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพชั้นสูง สถาบันเทคโนโลยีราชมงคล กรุงเทพมหานคร ตัวอย่างประชากรในการวิจัยเป็นนักศึกษาปีที่ 1 ระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพชั้นสูง สาขาวิชาเลขานุการ ประเภทวิชาบริหารธุรกิจ สถาบันเทคโนโลยีราชมงคล กรุงเทพมหานคร ปีการศึกษา 2540 จำนวน 72 คน ซึ่งได้มาโดยการสุ่มแบบแบ่งชั้น เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย แบบสอบความสามารถในการพูดภาษาอังกฤษในลักษณะกิจกรรมจำนวน 2 กิจกรรมคือ กิจกรรมการสัมภาษณ์และกิจกรรมการพูดบรรยายเหตุการณ์จากภาพ ในแต่ละกิจกรรมประกอบด้วยข้อสอบ 3 ชุดตามหัวข้อเรื่องคือ การสมัครงาน การโทรศัพท์ติดต่อและรับโทรศัพท์ และการต้อนรับผู้มาติดต่อ และแบบประเมินความสามารถในการพูดภาษาอังกฤษจำนวน 1 ฉบับ ทั้งแบบสอบและแบบประเมินดังกล่าวได้ผ่านการตรวจสอบความตรงเชิงเนื้อหา ความเหมาะสมและความถูกต้องของการใช้ภาษาจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ 3 ท่านและผ่านการทดลองใช้ 2 ครั้ง และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ค่ามัชฌิมเลขคณิต ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าที วิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว และวิเคราะห์ความแตกต่างรายคู่โดยวิธีของเชฟเฟ ผลการวิจัยปรากฏดังนี้ 1. ความสามารถในการพูดภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษาที่ได้จากการทำกิจกรรมการสัมภาษณ์สูงกว่าความสามารถในการพูดภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษาที่ได้จากการทำกิจกรรมการพูดบรรยายเหตุการณ์จากภาพ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 2. ความสามารถในการพูดภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษา ที่ได้จากการทำกิจกรรมการสัมภาษณ์และการพูดบรรยายเหตุการณ์จากภาพในหัวข้อเรื่องการสมัครงานและการต้อนรับผู้มาติดต่อ สูงกว่าความสามารถในการพูดภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษาที่ได้จากการทำกิจกรรม การสัมภาษณ์และกิจกรรมการพูดบรรยายเหตุการณ์จากภาพในหัวข้อเรื่องการโทรศัพท์ติดต่อและรับโทรศัพท์ อย่างนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 และความสามารถในการพูดภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษาที่ได้จากการทำกิจกรรมการพูดบรรยายเหตุการณ์จากภาพในหัวข้อเรื่องการสมัครงาน สูงกว่าความสามารถในการพูดภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษาที่ได้จากการทำกิจกรรมการพูดบรรยายเหตุการณ์จากภาพในหัวข้อเรื่องการโทรศัพท์ติดต่อและรับโทรศัพท์ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ 0.05 |
| Other Abstract: | The purposes of this research were to compare English speaking ability from doing interviews and description of sequence pictures, and to compare English speaking ability from doing the same tasks with different topics of students at the higher certificate level in the field of business administration majoring secretary in Rajamangala Institute of Technology, Bangkok Metropolis. The 72 samples were randomly stratified from first year students at the higher certificate level in the field of business administration majoring secretary in Rajamangala Institute of Technology, Bangkok Metropolis, in the academic year 1997. The research instruments were consisted of two types of activities: an interview and a description of sequence pictures. Each activity had three sets of tests according to topics, "Applying for a job", "Asking and giving information on the phone" and "Visitor reception" and 1 evaluation form. The two instruments were approved their content validity and appropriateness of the language use by three specialists and tried out twice. The data obtained was statistically analyzed by means of arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way analysis of variance and pairwise comparisons by Sheffe's test. The results revealed that: 1. The English speaking ability of students from doing interviews is higher than the English speaking ability of students from doing descriptions of sequence pictures at the 0.05 level of significance. 2. The English speaking ability of students from doing an interview and a description of sequence pictures on a topic of "Visitor reception" is higher than the English speaking ability of students from doing an interview and a description of sequence pictures on a topic of "Asking and giving information on the telephone" at the 0.05 level of significance. The English speaking ability of students from doing a description of sequence pictures on a topic of "Applying for a job" is higher than the English speaking ability of students from doing a description of sequence pictures on a topic of "Asking and giving information on the telephone" at the 0.05 level of significance |
