| Abstract: | การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาถึงความสัมพันธ์ของเจตคติที่วัดโดยตรงกับเจตคติที่วัดโดยนัย 2) ศึกษาถึงบทบาทของการกำกับการแสดงออกของตนและบุคลิกภาพแบบแมคคิเวลเลียนในการทำนายความไม่สอดคล้องระหว่างเจตคติต่อกลุ่มทางการเมืองที่วัดโดยตรงกับที่วัดโดยนัย และ3) ทดสอบประสิทธิภาพของเครื่องมือวัดเจตคติโดยนัยโดยใช้การทดสอบการเชื่อมโยงโดยนัยเพื่อนำไปใช้วัดเจตคติของบุคคลในเรื่องที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการเมืองไทย ผู้ร่วมการวิจัยจำนวน 189 คน ผลการวิจัย พบว่า เจตคติที่วัดโดยตรงมีสหสัมพันธ์ทางบวกระดับต่ำกับเจตคติที่วัดโดยนัยอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ.001 แม้ว่าค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ของผู้ที่มีการกำกับการแสดงออกของตนต่ำจะไม่แตกต่างจากผู้ที่มีการกำกับการแสดงออกของตนสูง แต่ในผู้ที่มีการกำกับการแสดงออกของตนสูงมีความไม่สอดคล้องระหว่างเจตคติต่อกลุ่มทางการเมืองที่วัดโดยตรงกับที่วัดโดยนัยสูงกว่าผู้ที่มีการกำกับการแสดงออกของตนเองต่ำอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ.05 ในขณะที่ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์และความไม่สอดคล้องระหว่างเจตคติต่อกลุ่มทางการเมืองที่วัดโดยตรงกับที่วัดโดยนัยของผู้ที่มีบุคลิกภาพแบบแมคคิเวลเลียนสูงและต่ำไม่แตกต่างกัน การกำกับการแสดงออกของตนและบุคลิกภาพแบบแมคคิเวลเลียนร่วมกันทำนายความไม่สอดคล้องระหว่างเจตคติที่วัดโดยตรงกับที่วัดโดยนัยได้ โดยการกำกับการแสดงออกของตนเท่านั้นที่สามารถทำนายความไม่สอดคล้องระหว่างเจตคติที่วัดโดยตรงกับที่วัดโดยนัยได้อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 ผลการทดสอบยังพบด้วยว่าการทดสอบการเชื่อมโยงโดยนัยที่พัฒนาขึ้นมีประโยชน์และสามารถวัดความนิยมต่อกลุ่มทางการเมืองของนิสิตได้ |
| Other Abstract: | This research examined: 1) the relationship between implicit and explicit attitude measurements 2) the role of self-monitoring and Machiavellianism to predict discrepancies between implicit and explicit attitudes towards Thai political groups and 3) the effectiveness of the Implicit Association Test (IAT) in measuring attitudes towards Thai political groups. One hundred and eighty nine undergraduate students participated in this research. The results show that implicit and explicit attitude measurements are statistically correlated (p < .001). Even though those who are high and low in self-monitoring do not differ significantly on implicit-explicit attitude measurements correlation, but those who are high in self-monitoring have significantly higher discrepancy between implicit and explicit attitudes than those who are low in self-monitoring (p < .05). Those who are high and low in Machiavellianism, on the other hand, do not differ significantly on implicit-explicit attitude measurements correlation and discrepancy between implicit and explicit attitudes. Self-monitoring and Machiavellianism together can predict discrepancy between implicit and explicit attitude toward Thai political groups with only self-monitoring having significant regression coefficient (p < .05). In addition, the political group preferences as measured by the IAT are valid and useful. Implications are discussed. |
