| Abstract: | การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาความเปลี่ยนแปลงและความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างตัวแปร ซึ่งได้แก่อันดับการเลือก คะแนนสอบคัดเลือก ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนและจำนวนปีที่ศึกษา นอกจากนั้นยังศึกษาการทำนายผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนจากวิชาที่ใช้สอบเข้ามหาวิทยาลัย กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้คือ นิสิตที่สำเร็จการศึกษาตามหลักสูตรปริญญาบัณฑิตสาขาสังคมศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย จำนวน 5,104 คน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลทุติยภูมิจากทบวงมหาวิทยาลัย และจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย วิเคราะห์ความเปลี่ยนแปลงโดยใช้ค่าตัวกลางและค่าการกระจาย วิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์โดยใช้สัมฤทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน สหสัมพันธ์บางส่วน และสหสัมพันธ์คานอนิคล วิเคราะห์การทำนายผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนจากวิชาสอบเข้าโดยใช้การถดถอยพหุคูณ ผลการวิจัยสรุปได้ดังนี้ 1. อันดับที่สอบได้เฉลี่ยและคะแนนสอบเข้าได้เฉลี่ยของนิสิตรุ่นปีการศึกษา 2518 ถึง 2521 มีค่าลดลง ส่วนผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนเฉลี่ยมีค่าเพิ่มขึ้นเล็กน้อยในขณะที่จำนวนปีที่ใช้ศึกษาเฉลี่ยลดลง 2. สหสัมพันธ์อย่างง่ายที่มีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 คือ อันดับการเลือกกับคะแนนสอบเข้า อันดับการเลือกกับผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน คะแนนสอบเข้ากับผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน คะแนนสอบเข้ากับจำนวนปีที่ศึกษา ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนกับจำนวนปีที่ศึกษา 3. สหสัมพันธ์บางส่วนระหว่างผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนกับจำนวนปีที่ศึกษาเมื่อกำหนดให้อันดับการเลือกและคะแนนสอบเข้าคงที่ มีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 ยกเว้นคณะนิเทศศาสตร์ และเมื่อกำหนดให้อันดับการเลือกและจำนวนปีที่ศึกษาคงที่แล้ว สหสัมพันธ์บางส่วนระหว่างผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนกับคะแนนสอบเข้ามีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 4. สหสัมพันธ์คานอนิคอลระหว่างชุดตัวแปรอันดับการเลือกและคะแนนสอบคัดเลือกกับชุดตัวแปร ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน และจำนวนปีที่ใช้ศึกษามีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 5. วิชาที่สามารถทำนายผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพคือหมวดวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ และวิชาภาษาไทย ก. |
| Other Abstract: | The purposes of this study were to find the change during the years of 1975-1978 of educational variables related to higher education namely; choices of selecting major area of specialization, entrance examination scores, university learning achievement and number of years completing the curriculum. Their intercorrelations and regression equations were also computed. The samples consisted of 5,104 Chualalongkorn University Social Sciences graduates, enrolling during the academic years 1975 to 1978. The secondary data were collected from the office of the University Affairs and Chulalongkorn University. The statistics used to analyze were central tendency measures coefficients of pearson product moment correlation, partial correlation, canonical correlation, and finally multiple regression analysis. The findings were as follow : 1. During the academic years, 1975-1978, the averages number of choices selected, entrance examination scores and numbers of years completing the curriculum tend to decrease while the university learning achievements to increase. 2. The canonical correlations were significant at .01 so as to their intercorrelation coefficients, except the choices selected and number of years completing the curriculum, some partial correlation coefficients were not. 3. The best predictors of university learning achievement were the English and Thai language (Form A) test scores. |
