| Abstract: | โครงงานนี้เป็นการทดสอบความเป็นเบนฟอร์ดของข้อมูล โดยการสังเกตระยะห่างระหว่าง 1 กับตัวประมาณของ α ที่ได้จากการประมาณด้วยวิธีความควรจะเป็นสูงสุด พร้อมทั้งพิจารณาช่วงของจำนวนนับ α ที่เหมาะสมในการนำไปทดสอบความเป็นเบนฟอร์ดของข้อมูล ซึ่งทั้งสองพารามิเตอร์นี้ เป็นพารามิเตอร์ของฟังก์ชันการแจกแจงของการแจกแจงที่เป็นลิมิตของกลุ่มการแจกแจงตัดปลาย ที่ศึกษาในงานของวิริยะไกรกุล, สุเมธกิจการ และสันติวิภานนท์ จากนั้นจะนำตัวประมาณของพารามิเตอร์ α และช่วงของจำนวนนับ α ที่เหมาะสมไปใช้ในการทดสอบความเป็นเบนฟอร์ดของข้อมูลค่าใช้จ่ายไฟฟ้ารายเดือน เราพบว่าข้อมูลนี้มีการแจกแจงเลขหลักแรกค่อนข้างสอดคล้องกับกฎของเบนฟอร์ด เราหวังว่าโครงงานนี้จะนำเสนออีกทางเลือกหนึ่งของการทดสอบความเป็นเบนฟอร์ดของชุดข้อมูล |
| Other Abstract: | We test Benfordness of data by observing distance between 1 and the estimator of parameter α which is estimated by maximum likelihood method. Moreover, we also find a range of parameter ԛ ∈ N suitable for testing Benfordness of data. These two parameters are parameters of the limiting distributions in the study of truncated distributions by Wiriyakraikul, Sumetkijakan and Santiwipanont. Next, the estimator of ԛ and the suitable range of ԛ is used to test Benfordness of electrical monthly payment data. We find that the first digit distributions of these data seem to follow Benford’s law. We hope that this project offers an alternative way to test the Benfordness of a set of data. |
