| Abstract: | โปรแกรมควบคุมอุปกรณ์สำหรับซีดีรอม พัฒนาบนระบบปฏิบัติการ SCO UNIX SYSTEM V/386 เพื่อใช้ควบคุมซีดีรอม ผ่านระบบการเชื่อมต่ออุปกรณ์แบบสกาสซี่ โปรแกรมนี้จะทำให้โปรแกรมประยุกต์ต่างๆ บนระบบปฏิบัติการยูนิกซ์สามารถเข้าใช้งานซีดีรอมในลักษณะของ บล็อกดีไวซ์ที่สามารถอ่านข้อมูลได้อย่าง เดียวโดยสามารถใช้ฟังก์ชั่นคอลต่างๆ ของระบบปฏิบัติการยูนิกซ์เพื่อติดต่อ สั่งงาน และอ่านข้อมูลที่เป็นตัว อักษรจากซีดีรอมได้ โครงสร้างข้อมูลบนแผ่นคอมเพ็คดิสค์ที่โปรแกรมสามารถอ่านได้ คือ โครงสร้างข้อมูล ตามมาตรฐานของ “The Yellow book : CD-ROM” ของบริษัทฟิลิปส์ ประเทศเนเธอร์แลนด์, บริษัทโซนี่ ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ร่วมกับมาตรฐานโครงสร้างข้อมูลระดับสูงของ International Organization of Standardization หมายเลข ISO 9660-1988-09-01 ในชื่อ “Information processing - Volume and File Structure of CD-ROM for Information Interchange” จากการพัฒนานี้พบว่าโปรแกรมนี้สามารถทำงานได้ดี เหมาะสมที่จะใช้พัฒนาในงานค้นหาเอกสารได้ |
| Other Abstract: | This device driver subprograms were developed on SCO UNIX SYSTEM V/386 to drive CD-ROM that were interfaced with the system via SCSI BUS. This device driver allows application programs to access CD-ROM as a read only direct access block device. Application programs can use normal system call to access and read character data from CD-ROM. The data structure of compact disk must be conformed to “The Yellow book : CD-ROM” standard developed by Philips of the Netherlands and Sony of Japan with the high level data structure standard developed by International Organization of Standardization number ISO 9660-1988-09-01 named “Information processing -Volume and File Structure of CD-ROM for Information Interchange”. It was found that the driver could work very well, and it could be developed for any searching applications. |
