dc.description.abstractงานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสำรวจจำนวนวิทยานิพนธ์ของบัณฑิตวิทยาลัย จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ตั้งแต่ พ.ศ. 2486-2520 ตลอดจนศึกษาลักษณะทางกายภาพของวิทยานิพนธ์และเกรดที่ได้รับ พร้อมทั้งทดสอบการกระจายของเกรด สรุปผลการวิจัยได้ดังนี้วิทยานิพนธ์ในช่วงเวลาดังกล่าวจำนวน 2,638 ฉบับ จาก 10 คณะเรียงตามลำดับ คือครุศาสตร์ (48.14%) พาณิชยศาสตร์และการบัญชี (9.59%) รัฐศาสตร์ (8.23%) วิศวกรรมศาสตร์ (8.19) เศรษฐศาสตร์ (1.78%) นิติศาสตร์ (1.06%) เภสัชศาสตร์ (0.91) และสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์ (0.31%) ในจำนวนนี้เป็นวิทยานิพนธ์ของคณะครุศาสตร์มากที่สุด และการเพิ่ม-ลดจำนวนวิทยานิพนธ์มีลักษณะไม่ใช้เส้นตรง ปีที่มีจำนวนวิทยานิพนธ์มากที่สุด คือ พ.ศ. 2519 วิทยานิพนธ์ของบัณฑิตวิทยาลัยส่วนมากมีจำนวนหน้าประมาณ 124 หน้า โดยจำแนกตามสัดส่วนร้อยละ คือ เนื้อเรื่อง 73,15 บรรณานุกรม 3.25 และภาคผนวก 17.76 วิทยานิพนธ์ส่วนมากใช้ในการวิจัยเชิงบรรยาย (45.26%) เป็นโครงการเดี่ยวขนาดเล็ก (98.29%) ไม่ได้รับทุนอุดหนุน (87.48%) และได้รับเกรด B หรือ Good (64.51%) เมื่อทดสอบการกระจายของเกรดกับโค้งปกติด้วยค่าสถิติไคสแควร์ ปรากฏว่าการกระจายของเกรดไม่เป็นโค้งปกติ ที่ระดับความมีนัยสำคัญ .001 ในส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้องกับทำวิทยานิพนธ์ คือ ส่วนมากผู้ทำเป็นเพศหญิง (62.81%) และประกอบอาชีพในระหว่างทำวิทยานิพนธ์ (80.29%) ส่วนอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษานั้นประมาณสามในสี่เป็นอาจารย์ในแผนกวิชานั้น
dc.description.abstractalternativeThis research is to investigate Master's theses of Graduate School, Chulalongkorn University during the year B.E. 2486-2520. Ten Faculties, yielded 2,638 theses namely, Education (48.14%) Science (12.24%) Commerce and Accountancy (9.59%) Arts (9.55%) Political Science (8.23$) Engineering (8.19%) Economics (1.78%) Laws (1.06%) Pharmaceutical Science (0.91%) and Architecture (0.31%), The increasing number of these indicated non-linear trend with the maximum point at B.E. 2519 and minimum points covering B.E. 2486-2504. Most theses composed of 124 pages, with 73.15% subject matter, 3.25% bibliography and 17.76% appendix. These theses applied descriptive, research methodology. They were single and small project without financial support Most of them received grade B or Good As the evaluation part, the goodness of fit showed the deviation from normality (p < .001). With reference to researcher, most of researchers were career female. About three-fourth of advisor Were faculty staff within the department.
