| Abstract: | ระบบการแทนรูปสัญลักษณ์ของฟอนต์ด้วยวิธีเวกเตอร์ในงานวิทยานิพนธ์นี้ เป็นระบบซึ่งเริ่มต้นตั้งแต่การสร้างฟอนต์แบบจุดภาพ การแปลงฟอนต์แบบจุดภาพเป็นฟอนต์แบบเวกเตอร์ ตลอดจนถึงการเสนอฟังก์ชันพื้นฐานในการใช้งานเวกเตอร์ฟอนต์ที่ได้ต่อไป โดยเวกเตอร์ฟอนต์ที่ใช้ในงานวิจัยนี้จะสร้างขึ้นจากเส้นโค้งแบบเบชิเยร์ เพื่อให้การแสดงผลฟอนต์มีความสวยงามในส่วนโค้งต่าง ๆ ไม่ว่าจะมีการขยายขนาดอย่างไรก็ตาม ซึ่งทำให้เหมาะแก่การนำมาประยุกต์ใช้กับฟอนต์ที่มีส่วนโค้งมนมาก เช่น ภาษาไทย เป็นต้น โดยเทคนิคต่าง ๆ ซึ่งได้นำมาใช้ในงานวิจัยนี้ จะประกอบด้วย เทคนิคในการแปลงฟอนต์แบบจุดภาพเป็นฟอนต์แบบจุดภาพเส้นขอบ เทคนิคในการตัดแบ่งฟอนต์แบบจุดภาพเส้นขอบเป็นเส้นโค้งย่อย เทคนิคในการแปลงเส้นโค้งย่อยเป็นฟอนต์แบบเวกเตอร์ และยังประกอบด้วยส่วนของการแก้ไขเวกเตอร์ฟอนต์ที่ได้ให้สวยงามตามต้องการ รวมทั้งมีฟังก์ชันในการหมุน เคลื่อนย้ายและเปลี่ยนขนาดของเวกเตอร์ฟอนต์ที่ได้ ผลจากการวิจัยโดยใช้ฟอนต์ตัวอย่างจำนวน 10 ฟอนต์ สามารถแปลงจากฟอนต์แบบจุดภาพมาเป็นฟอนต์แบบเวกเตอร์ได้ โดยฟอนต์ที่ประกอบด้วยเส้นโค้งที่ซับซ้อนที่สุดจะใช้เวลาไม่เกิน 5 นาที และมีส่วนที่ต้องแก้ไขภายหลังเพียงเล็กน้อยเท่านั้น |
| Other Abstract: | This thesis is about the system which represents font symbol by vector method. The system begins from creating bitmap font, converting bitmap font to vector font, and offering basic functions for using vector font. Vector font from this thesis is created from bezier curves. Hence, the results of font by this method will be smooth in any curves and any sizes. Then, it will be suitable to apply to font that there are many curves like thai font. In this thesis, many techniques are used, such as, converting bitmap font to bitmap outline font technique, cutting bitmap font to curves segment technique, converting curves segment to vector font technique, etc. Furthermore, vector font can be more suitably edited and this thesis has been prepared many functions to rotate, translate, and resize vector font. When the result of this thesis is tested by using 10 examples of font, the system shows that all of them can be converted from bitmap font to vector font within 5 minutes. And only a little adjustment is required. |
