| dc.description.abstractalternative | A pyrataoquinolone alkaloid was isolated from the leaves of Micromelum minutum Seem, by means of preparative thin layer chromatography. The physical and chemteal properties together with spectro¬scopic evidence have shown that it is flindersine [2¹,2¹-dimethyl pyrano-(5¹,6¹-3,4)-2-quinolone]. This alkaloid has never been reported from the genus Micromelum before. | |
