| dc.description.abstract | วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัย การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ที่จะศึกษาระดับความสามารถในการอ่านเอาเรื่องภาษาไทย 3 แบบ คือประเภทแปลความ (Translation) ประเภทตีความ (Interpretation) และประเภทขยายความ (Extrapolation) ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ศึกษาว่า ความสามารถในการอ่านแบบทดสอบทั้ง 3 แบบของนักเรียนนั้นจะสัมพันธ์ซึ่งกันและกันหรือไม่ และความแตกต่างเกี่ยวกับเพศ อายุ ผลสัมฤทธิ์ในการเรียนในหมวดวิชาภาษาไทย และผลสัมฤทธิ์ในการเรียนจะเกี่ยวข้องกับการอ่านเอาเรื่องภาษาไทยของนักเรียนหรือไม่ อย่างไร วิธีดำเนินการ ผู้วิจัยได้สร้างแบบทดสอบการอ่านเอาเรื่องภาษาไทย 3 แบบ คือ แบบทดสอบการอ่านเอาเรื่องประเภทแปลความ ตีความ และขยายความ แบบละ 20 ข้อ เป็นแบบเลือกตอบ (Multiple choice) และแบบทดสอบได้ทดลองสอบก่อนที่จะได้นำมาเป็นแบบทดสอบจริง ตัวอย่างประชากรเป็นนักเรียนชาย 150 คน และนักเรียนหญิง 150 คน ซึ่งกำลังศึกษาอยู่ในชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 3 ในโรงเรียนรัฐบาลสหศึกษา ในจังหวัดนครนายก ผู้วิจัยได้วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยนำคะแนนที่ได้จากแบบทดสอบทั้ง 3 แบบมาหาค่าสัมประสิทธิ์ความเชื่อถือได้ ค่าเฉลี่ย (Mean) ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (Standard Deviation) ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน (Pearson’s product moment correlation) และทดสอบค่า z ผลของการวิจัย 1. ระดับความสามารถในการอ่านเอาเรื่องภาษาไทยของนักเรียนจากการอ่านแบบทดสอบประเภทแปลความ ตีความ และขยายความ ยังไม่ดีนัก 2. คะแนนการอ่านเอาเรื่องภาษาไทยของนักเรียนจากแบบทดสอบทั้ง 3 แบบมีความสัมพันธ์ซึ่งกันและกันเป็นส่วนใหญ่ 3. คะแนนการอ่านเอาเรื่องภาษาไทยของนักเรียนจากแบบทดสอบทั้ง 3 แบบ กับคะแนนหมวดวิชาภาษาไทยของนักเรียนมีความสัมพันธ์กันเป็นส่วนใหญ่ 4. คะแนนการอ่านเอาเรื่องภาษาไทยของนักเรียนจากแบบทดสอบทั้ง 3 แบบกับคะแนนผลสัมฤทธิ์ในการเรียนของนักเรียนมีความสัมพันธ์กันเป็นส่วนใหญ่ 5. นักเรียนหญิงในกลุ่มอายุต่ำกว่า 16 ปี มีความสามารถในการอ่านแบบทดสอบตีความ และแบบทดสอบทั้ง 3 แบบรวมกัน ดีกว่านักเรียนชายในกลุ่มอายุเดียวกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .05 ส่วนการอ่านแบบทดสอบแปลความ และขยายความ นักเรียนชายและนักเรียนหญิงมีความสามารถไม่แตกต่างกัน 6. นักเรียนชายในกลุ่มอายุสูงกว่า 16 ปี มีความสามารถในการอ่านแบบทดสอบตีความสูงกว่านักเรียนหญิงในกลุ่มอายุเดียวกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .05 และนักเรียนชายในกลุ่มอายุสูงกว่า 16 ปี มีความสามารถในการอ่านแบบทดสอบขยายความ และแบบทดสอบทั้ง 3 แบบรวมกัน ดีกว่านักเรียนหญิงในกลุ่มอายุเดียวกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .01 ส่วนความสามารถในการอ่านแบบทดสอบแปลความ นักเรียนชายและนักเรียนหญิงมีความสามารถในการอ่านไม่แตกต่างกัน | |
| dc.description.abstractalternative | Purpose The purposes of this thesis were to investigate the level of Thai reading comprehension ability in translation, interpretation and extrapolation of Mathayom Suksa 3 students, to determine the extent of correlation of ability in these three skills, to discover, whether sex, age, students’ proficiency in other subjects in Thai language curriculum and their proficiency in learning effected their ability of comprehension in the three skills. Procedure Three sets of Thai reading comprehension tests were used to acquire the required data. The researcher constructed a translation test, an interpretation test and an extrapolation test, and these were administered or a pretest to unprove the test validity, then, the tests were administered into final form. The subjects were 150 boys and 150 girls who were studying in Mathayom Suksa Three in a co-educational secondary government school in Nakornayok. The results from the test were calculated to investigate the reliability of the tests; then they were computed by mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s product moment correlation and the z-test. Results 1. The level of Thai reading comprehension ability in translation, interpretation and extrapolation of Mathayom Suksa 3 students was unsatisfactory. 2. The students’ ability to comprehend the material in the three tests was mostly correlated. 3. The correlation of the marks which the students gained from the researcher’s tests and their marks in other subjects in Thai language curriculum was mostly correlated. 4. The correlation of the marks which the students gained from the researcher’s tests and the marks of the students’ proficiency in learning were mostly correlated. 5. On the average, girls under 16 years of age got higher marks than boys of the same age in the interpretation test, and all three tests at the .05 level of significance. There was no differences between boys and girls in the ability to comprehend the translation test and the extrapolation test. 6. On the average, boys over 16 years of age got higher marks than girls of the same age in the interpretation test at the .05 level of significance. These boys also got higher marks than the girls in the extrapolation test, and all three tests at .01 level of significance. But there was no difference between boys and girls in the ability to comprehend the translation test. | |
