dc.description.abstractวิทยานิพนธ์นี้เป็นการศึกษาเกี่ยวกับการวิเคราะห์เพื่อประเมินผล วิธีการบางประการ ของการปรับปรุงแก้ไขเพื่อลดอุบัติเหตุการจราจรบนถนนในเขตพื้นที่กรุงเทพมหานคร โดยมีจุดประสงค์ เพื่อต้องการทราบว่า การแก้ไขปัญหาอุบัติเหตุการจราจรบนถนนบางประการที่ใช้กันอยู่ ในกรุงเทพมหานครจะมีผลต่อการลดอุบัติเหตุอย่างไร โดยทำการศึกษาจากโครงการปรับปรุง แก้ไขจำนวน 7 โครงการ ได้แก่ ถนนเพชรบุรีตัดใหม่ ทำการก่อสร้างสะพานลอยคน เดินข้าม หน้าวัดดิสหงสาราม - ถนนหลานหลวง ทำการปรับปรุงเสริมผิวจราจรด้วยแอสฟัลต์ผสมร้อนจากเชิงสะพานยมราชถึงเชิงสะพานจตุรพักตร์ - ถนนดินแดง ทำการปรับปรุงสัญญาณไฟ โดยเปลี่ยนดวงโคมสัญญาณไฟ เสาสูงชนิดแขวนและอื่นๆ บริเวณทางแยกดินแดง-ราชปรารภ - ถนนเพชรบุรีตัดใหม่ ทำการปรับปรุงบริเวณทางแยก ซุ้มสัญญาณไฟ โดยการทาสีเครื่องหมายและตีเส้นช่องทางบริเวณทางแยกเพชรบุรี-อโศก – ถนนพระรามที่ 1 ทำการก่อสร้างสะพานลอยคนเดินข้ามเชิงสะพานกษัตริย์ศึก-ถนนพิษณุโลก ทำการปรับปรุงบริเวณทางแยกซุ้มสัญญาณไฟ โดยการทาสีเครื่องหมายและตีเส้นช่องทางบริเวณทางแยกพิษณุโลก-ราชสีมาและถนนพระสุเมรุทำการปรับปรุง โดยการทาสีทางข้ามและตีเส้นช่องทางตลอดช่วง จากผลการศึกษาโดยทำการวิเคราะห์การลดลงของจำนวนอุบัติเหตุโดยทำการทดสอบ ระดับนัยสำคัญ (significant test) เพื่อประเมินผลทางด้านสถิติ พบว่าที่ระคับความเชื่อมั่น 95 เปอร์เซ็นต์ ส่วนใหญ่ความแตกต่าง(ลดลง) ของจำนวนอุบัติเหตุ ไม่มีนัยสำคัญสำหรับการวิ เคราะห์เพื่อประเมินผลทางด้านเศรษฐศาสตร์ จากการเปรียบเทียบผลกำไรที่สามารถลดมูลค่า ของความสูญ เสียเนื่องจากอุบัติเหตุการจราจรบนถนน โดยพิจารณาค่าผลกำไรสุทธิต่อปีและค่า b/c ratio พบว่าการแก้ไขปรับปรุงโดยการทาสีทางข้ามและตีส้นช่องทาง - การปรับปรุงบริเวณทางแยกซุ้มสัญญาณไฟ โดยการทาสีเครื่องหมายและตีเส้นช่องทาง - การปรับปรุง สัญญาณไฟโดยการเปลี่ยนดวงโคมสัญญาณไฟ เสาสูงชนิดแขวนและอื่นๆ - การปรับปรุงเสริมผิวจราจรด้วยแอสฟัลต์ผสมร้อน - และการปรับปรุงโดยการก่อสร้างสะพานลอยคนเดินข้ามให้ผลที่คุ้มค่าตามหลักเศรษฐศาสตร์จากมากไปหาน้อยตามลำดับ วิธีการปรับปรุงแก้ไขต่างๆ ที่กล่าวมานี้ ควรจะพิจารณาหาวิธีการที่จะสามารถเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพของการใช้งานเพื่อให้จำนวนและอัตราการเกิดอุบัติเหตุลดลงอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ-
dc.description.abstractalternativeThis research study deals with the analysis and evaluation of road traffic accident counter measures in Greater Bangkok Metropolitan Area. The purpose of the study is to evaluate some counter measures to reduce road traffic accident. The study concentrated on 7 projects which were implemented by BMA (Bangkok Municipal Administration) during 1977 to 1979. They are as followed - New Petchaburee Road - The construction of a new pedestrian foot-bridge in front of Wat Dishongsaram. - Lan-Luang Road - The improvement of roadway by overlay using hot-mix asphalt concrete. - Din-Deang Road - The improvement of traffic signal, signal holder, post etc. at Din Deang - Rajaparop intersection. - New Petchaburee Road - The improvement of signalize intersection by using lane marking, crossing lane and curb marking at Petchaburee-Asoke intersection. - Rama I Road -The construction of a new pedestrian foot-bridge near Kasatsuk Bridge. - Pitsanulok Road - The improvement of signalize intersection by using lane marking, crossing lane and curb marking at Pitsanulok- Rajasema intersection. - And Prasumenru Road - The improvement of zebra crossing and lane marking along the section . The results of the study reveal the following. - For statistical analysis - The results of the significant test by using poisson and binomial curve shows that most counter measures has little effect on road traffic accident reduction, and accident is not significantly reduce. - For economic analysis - The results of the benefit cost ratio and net annual benefit of each implemented projects shows that each counter measures implemented yield economic benefit ranking from top to the lowest as follows. - The improvement of zebra crossing and lane marking by using color paint. - The improvement of signalize intersection by using lane marking, crossing lane and curb marking. - The improvement of roadway by overlay using hot-mix asphalt concrete. - The improvement of street crossing by construction a new pedestrian foot-bridge. These counter measures can be improved by using more consideration in order to help reduce more accident and will significantly reduce the total no. of accident.-
