| Abstract: | วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาความเป็นมา องค์ประกอบและการแสดง หุ่นกระบอก คณะชะเวงหลานแม่บุญช่วย จังหวัดนครสวรรค์ ปี 2549-2550 โดยรวบรวมข้อมูลจากเอกสารทางวิชาการ สัมภาษณ์ สังเกตการณ์ การบันทึกแสดงจริง และทดลองปฏิบัติเชิดหุ่นกระบอกด้วยตนเอง การวิจัยพบว่าหุ่นกระบอกคณะนี้เริ่มต้นในรัชกาลที่ 5 โดยบุคคล 3 คน คือ นายรื่น (ไม่ทราบนามสกุล) นายเงิน (ไม่ทราบนามสกุล) และนายปลื้ม นิลชเอม ต่อมาได้แยกตัวออกเป็น 2 คณะ คือ คณะรำไพนาฏศิลป์ ได้เลิกกิจการเมื่อไม่นานมานี้ อีกคณะหนึ่ง คือ คณะของนางชะเวงหลาน- แม่บุญช่วย ยังคงทำการแสดงมาจนทุกวันนี้ โดยทำการแสดงประมาณปีละ 2 ครั้ง หุ่นคณะนี้มีตัวหุ่นเท่าที่พบ 91 ตัว หุ่นสูงเฉลี่ย 35 เซนติเมตร มีเรื่องที่ใช้แสดง 14 เรื่อง ใช้แสดงระยะหลัง 7 เรื่อง เวทียกพื้น ประมาณ 80 เซนติเมตร โรงหุ่นมีขนาดกว้าง 4 เมตร ยาว 4 เมตร มีฉากเขียนกั้น มีผ้าปิดด้านหน้ากันสายตาคนดู คนเชิดเป็นหญิงสูงอายุ 4 คน นั่งเชิดหลังฉาก หลังคนเชิดเป็นที่ตั้งวงปี่พาทย์ การแสดงเริ่มต้นด้วยการไหว้ครู โหมโรง รำถวายมือ นำเรื่อง จากนั้นก็แสดงตามท้องเรื่อง แล้วจบด้วยปี่พาทย์ทำเพลงกราวรำอำนวยพรให้คนดู ใช้เวลาในการแสดงประมาณ 2 ชั่วโมง การเชิดใช้กิริยาท่าทางเลียนแบบอิริยาบทของมนุษย์ และท่านาฏยศิลป์ไทย หุ่นกระบอกคณะนี้ขาดการสนับสนุน เนื่องจากคนรุ่นใหม่ไม่ได้รับการชี้นำ ชี้แนะ ให้เข้าใจและชื่นชอบจากหน่วยงาน รัฐ หรือเอกชนในจังหวัดอย่างแท้จริง จึงอาจทำให้หุ่นคณะนี้ ต้องยุติการแสดงลงในไม่ช้า จึงหวังจะมีการเร่งรัดให้เกิดการอนุรักษ์และพัฒนาหุ่นคณะนี้ให้ยั่งยืน สืบต่อไป |
| Other Abstract: | This thesis aims at studying the history, performing elements and the performance of the doll puppet company Chaweng Lan Mae Boon Chuay Troupe in Nakhon Sawan Province. The research vationa methodology includes documentary research, interviewing, observation of performances and practicing lmanipulation techniques. The research finds that the troupe was originated by three men in reign of King Rama V. Later it was separated into two troupes. Only the Chaweng troupe continues until today with only two performances a year by four aged women who are the sole puppeteers. demonstrations are requested at random by local schools. Chaweng Onlamai the troupe leader was being awarded as the provincial outstanding artist. There are altogether 91 doll puppets. Repertoire includes 14 stories with only 7 plays regularly performed today. Stage is 4 meter wide and 4 meter deep with a painted scerey and a frontise piece to block the eyes of the audience. Puppeteers sit behind the scenery and music ensemble is located behind the puppeteers. Performance starts with paying homage to the gurus. Then the music prelude starts followed immediately by a traditional opening dance to welcome the audience and an announcement of the program. The play proper begins with the hermit or the angel to bless the performance to start the play which last about two hours and concludes with a dance finale to bless the audience. Chaweng is the only narrator and singer throughout the performance. The doll movements imitate the human natural action and Thai dance movements. This doll puppet troupe is dying down because it loses the interest of the local audience due to the lack of promotion through education and cultural understanding and appreciation. It is hope that there should be some local institutes to address this serious problem otherwise this doll puppet troupe will be gone forever. |
