| Abstract: | วิทยานิพนธ์นี้มุ่งศึกษาสุภาษิตพระร่วงสำนวนที่กวีสร้างสรรค์ขึ้นใหม่ในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 5 จำนวน 4 สำนวน ได้แก่สุภาสิตพระร่วงกลอนลิลิต (เนื้อหาส่วนที่ 2) สุภาสิตพระร่วงกลอนลิลิต (เนื้อหาส่วนที่ 4) สุภาสิตพระร่วงในลิลิตพงศาวดารเหนือ และโคลงภาษิตพระร่วงในวชิรญาณ โดยมีจุดประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาอิทธิพลและวิธีสร้างสรรค์ตัวบทจากร่ายสุภาษิตพระร่วงสำนวนจารึกวัดพระเชตุพนฯ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า กวีในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 5 สร้างสรรค์สุภาษิตพระร่วงขึ้นใหม่โดยมีร่ายสุภาษิตพระร่วงสำนวนจารึกวัดพระเชตุพนฯ เป็นต้นแบบในการประพันธ์ สุภาษิตพระร่วงที่กวีสร้างสรรค์ขึ้นใหม่ในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 5 ได้รับอิทธิพลด้านรูปแบบคำประพันธ์ เนื้อหา ศิลปะการประพันธ์ และมีการเลียนถ้อยคำจากร่ายสุภาษิตพระร่วงสำนวนจารึกวัดพระเชตุพนฯ อย่างเด่นชัด อิทธิพลด้านรูปแบบคำประพันธ์ สุภาษิตพระร่วงสมัยรัชกาลที่ 5 ทุกสำนวน กวียังคงใช้ร่ายที่มีเอกลักษณ์ในการนำเสนอคำสอน อิทธิพลด้านเนื้อหา เห็นได้ชัดว่าทุกสำนวนต่างอ้างว่า “พระร่วง” เป็นเจ้าของสุภาษิตและยังคงเน้นย้ำคำสอนเรื่องหลักการครองตนและหลักการปฏิบัติต่อบุคคลที่มีสถานภาพทางสังคมในระดับต่างๆ เช่นเดียวกับร่ายสุภาษิตพระร่วงสำนวนจารึกวัดพระเชตุพนฯ อิทธิพลด้านศิลปะการประพันธ์ สุภาษิตพระร่วงที่กวีสร้างสรรค์ขึ้นใหม่ในสมัยรัชกาลที่ 5 หลายสำนวนได้สืบทอดศิลปะการใช้ภาษาและวิธีการนำเสนอคำสอนจากร่ายสุภาษิตพระร่วงสำนวนจารึกวัดพระเชตุพนฯ นอกจากนี้สุภาษิตพระร่วงสมัยรัชกาลที่ 5 บางสำนวนยังได้รับอิทธิพลด้านการใช้ถ้อยคำจากร่ายสุภาษิตพระร่วงสำนวนจารึกวัดพระเชตุพนฯ ด้วย สุภาษิตพระร่วงสมัยรัชกาลที่ 5 ไม่เพียงสืบทอดคำสอนโบราณจากร่ายสุภาษิตพระร่วงสำนวนจารึกวัดพระเชตุพนฯ ด้วยการรักษารูปแบบคำประพันธ์ สืบทอดเนื้อหา ประยุกต์ใช้ศิลปะการประพันธ์ รวมทั้งเลียนถ้อยคำได้อย่างมีศิลปะเท่านั้น แต่ในการสร้างสรรค์สุภาษิตพระร่วงขึ้นใหม่ กวียังมีการปรับเปลี่ยนและเพิ่มรูปแบบคำประพันธ์ การอธิบายความ การตีความใหม่ และการเพิ่มเนื้อหาคำสอนด้วย ด้านการปรับเปลี่ยนรูปแบบและเพิ่มคำประพันธ์ สุภาษิตพระร่วงสมัยรัชกาลที่ 5 บางสำนวน มีการเพิ่มโคลงในตอนต้นและตอนท้ายร่ายสุภาษิต และบางสำนวนมีการแต่งโคลงประกอบเข้าคู่ร่ายสุภาษิตทีละวรรค ด้านการอธิบายความ สุภาษิตพระร่วงสมัยรัชกาลที่ 5 บางสำนวน กวีได้อธิบายขยายความคำสอนของร่ายสุภาษิตพระร่วงสำนวนจารึกวัดพระเชตุพนฯ ด้วยการให้คำนิยามศัพท์ การยกตัวอย่างประกอบ และการใช้ถ้อยคำอธิบายคำสอนเพิ่มเติม ด้านการตีความใหม่ สุภาษิตพระร่วงสมัยรัชกาลที่ 5 บางสำนวน กวีได้นำคำสอนบางหัวข้อของร่ายสุภาษิตพระร่วงสำนวนจารึกวัดพระเชตุพนฯ มาตีความใหม่เพื่อสื่อความให้ตรงความต้องการของกวี ด้านการเพิ่มเติมเนื้อหาคำสอน กวีได้เพิ่มเติมเนื้อหาคำสอนทั้งคำสอนที่มีสารัตถะคล้ายคลึงกับร่ายสุภาษิตพระร่วงสำนวนจารึกวัดพระเชตุพนฯ และคำสอนที่มีสารัตถะใหม่ซึ่งบางคำสอนให้คติที่สัมพันธ์กับยุคสมัย ผลจากการสืบทอดและสร้างสรรค์ตัวบทจากร่ายสุภาษิตพระร่วงสำนวนจารึกวัดพระเชตุพนฯ ทำให้สุภาษิตพระร่วงสมัยรัชกาลที่ 5 มีคุณค่าหลากหลาย เช่น คุณค่าด้านวรรณศิลป์และคุณค่าด้านวรรณคดี คุณค่าด้านปัญญา รวมทั้งคุณค่าด้านสังคม อันสะท้อนให้เห็นอัจฉริยภาพในการสืบสรรค์โบราณภาษิตของกวี |
| Other Abstract: | This thesis aims to study the four versions of the Phra Ruang Poetical Proverbs written by poets in the reign of King Rama V—Suphasit Phra Ruang Klon Lilit (the contents of Part II), Suphasit Phra Ruang Klon Lilit (the contents of Part IV), Suphasit Phra Ruang in Lilit Pongsawadan Neua and Khlong Phasit Phra Ruang in Vajirajhan, in order to examine the influences upon and the method of creating the texts of the Wat Phra Chetuphon version of the Rai Phra Ruang Proverbs. The study find that poets in the reign of King Rama V wrote the Phra Ruang Proverbs based on the Wat Phra Chetuphon version the Rai Phra Ruang Proverbs. These newly composed Phra Ruang Proverbs were evidently influenced by the Wat Phra Chetuphon version of the Rai Phra Ruang Proverbs in terms of form, content, poetic composition and the imitation of some words in some parts. In terms of form, the poets who wrote the Phra Ruang Proverbs in the reign of King Rama V used the Rai poetical technique to present the teachings. In terms of content, it is evident that all the proverbs refer to “Phra Ruang” as the original writer of the proverbs and emphasize the principle of how to lead one’s life and how to treat people of a different social status in the same way that is emphasized in the Wat Phra Chetuphon version of the Rai Phra Ruang Proverbs. In terms of poetic composition, Phra Ruang Proverbs in the reign of King Rama V continued to use the words and how to present proverbs of the Wat Phra Chetuphon version of the Rai Phra Ruang Proverbs. Moreover, Phra Ruang Proverbs in the reign of King Rama V were influenced in terms of expression by the Wat Phra Chetuphon version. Phra Ruang Proverbs in the reign of King Rama V not only continued the teachings of ancient times that presented in the Wat Phra Chetuphon version of the Rai Phra Ruang Proverbs in terms of form, content, poetical composition and the adoption of an artistic style of words and expressions but also created new Phra Ruang Proverbs. The poets changed the poetic form, gave further explanations, new interpretations and additional content to the teachings. In terms of the poetical form, two things were found— "Khlong" was added to the beginning and the end of the Rai Proverbs and "Khlong" was written to accompany each line of pairs of the Rai Proverbs. In terms of explanations, the poets expanded the teachings of the Wat Phra Chetuphon version of the Rai Phra Ruang Proverbs by giving definitions of words, citing examples and giving additional information. In terms of interpretation, some of the Phra Ruang Proverbs gave a new interpretation to the Wat Phra Chetuphon version of the Rai Phra Ruang Proverbs in order to communicate the poets’ meaning. In terms of additional teachings, the poets have added new teachings to each version of Phra Ruang Proverbs. These teachings include those whose meanings are like the ones in the Wat Phra Chetuphon version of the Rai Phra Ruang Proverbs and new meanings that are related to meaning at the time of writing. The continuation and creation of the Phra Ruang Proverbs based on the Wat Phra Chetuphon version of the Rai Phra Ruang Proverbs contribute to various values in the Phra Ruang Proverbs of the reign of King Rama V; for example, literary value and a style of literature, intellectual value, and social value, which reflects the poets’ ability to continue and create proverbs. |
