| Abstract: | บทความนี้กล่าวถึงความส าคัญของอักษรฟรัคทัวร์ อันเป็นอักษรตัวพิมพ์ที ่ใช้แพร ่หลายในโลกภาษาและวัฒนธรรมเยอรมัน จนกระทั ่งสมัยสงครามโลกครั้งที ่ 2 ทั้งยังเป็นอักษรที่มีประวัติผูกพันกับอัตลักษณ์ประจ าชาติและคริสต์ศาสนานิกาย โปรเตสแตนต์ในบริบทสังคมวัฒนธรรมเยอรมันมาตลอดหลายศตวรรษ แต ่ผู้อ่านที่ไม่คุ้นเคยกับรูปแบบและอักขรวิธีก็อาจ ประสบปัญหาในการอ่านเอกสารที่ตีพิมพ์ด้วยอักษรฟรัคทัวร์ได้ บทความนี้จึงกล่าวถึงประวัติของอักษรฟรัคทัวร์โดยสังเขป รวมถึงแสดงรูปแบบและอักขรวิธีพื้นฐาน พร้อมกับเสนอตัวอย่างข้อความภาษาเยอรมันที่พิมพ์ด้วยอักษรฟรัคทัวร์ เพื่อให้เป็น ประโยชน์ต่อการค้นคว้าวิจัยเอกสารภาษาเยอรมันที่ตีพิมพ์ด้วยอักษรฟรัคทัวร์นี้ต่อไป |
| Other Abstract: | This article highlights the relevance of Fraktur, a typeface widely used in German language and culture until the Second World War, which has been associated for many centuries with German national identity as well as Protestantism in the German cultural context. Readers unaccustomed to its distinctive appearance and orthography may experience trouble reading texts written in Fraktur. This article, therefore, deals with the origin of Fraktur in brief, introduces its forms and basic orthography and provides example texts, which could be useful for research dealing with texts in German featuring this typeface. |
