dc.description.abstract	จริยศาสตร์แห่งความอาทร โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งที่ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจจากงานเขียนเรื่อง “จากเสียงที่ต่างไป” (“In A Different Voice”) ซึ่งเริ่มจากการ “ฟัง” เสียงผู้หญิงและประสบการณ์ทางจริยธรรมของผู้หญิงกลับช่วยดึงจริยศาสตร์ให้ติดดิน หยั่งฐานจากความจริงของบริบทชีวิตมนุษย์ ซึ่งก็คือการอิงอาศัยซึ่งกันและกัน การที่จริยศาสตร์ดังกล่าวเน้นความสำคัญของบริบทและเรื่องเล่าทำให้เราต้องทบทวนความเข้าใจจริยศาสตร์และปัญหาจริยศาสตร์กันใหม่ ในกระบวนทัศน์ดังกล่าวทฤษฎีจริยศาสตร์ที่จะช่วยเป็นแนวทางการดำเนินชีวิตได้จะต้องมีที่มาจากประสบการณ์ทางจริยธรรมในบริบทชีวิตจริงของคนจริง ๆ ที่มีอัตลักษณ์และดำรงอยู่ในเครือข่ายแห่งความสัมพันธ์ ทฤษฎีจริยศาสตร์ดังกล่าวจะต้องมุ่งจุดสนใจสู่ความต้องการจริงและการสนองความต้องการนั้น ๆ อย่างเหมาะสม นี่หมายความว่ามนุษย์จะต้องมีการคุยกันมากขึ้น ฟังกันมากขึ้น นอกจากการพูดคุยกันจะถือเป็นกุญแจที่จะนำไปสู่การตัดสินและการแก้ปัญหาจริยธรรมแล้วยังถือเป็นสาระสำคัญของผู้ที่มีจริยธรรมอย่างแท้จริง ที่สำคัญพอกันก็คือทฤษฎีจริยศาสตร์ที่ใช้ได้จะต้องเข้าใจปัญหาจริยธรรมว่าเป็นปัญหาในความสัมพันธ์และชีวิตที่ดีคือชีวิตในความสัมพันธ์ที่ส่งเสริมดุลยภาพของตัวตนสัมพันธ์	en
dc.description.abstractalternative	The ethics of care, especially that inspired by Carol Gilligan’s In A Different Voice, help bring the reality of human interdependence into clear context. With the emphasis on context and narratives, we are forced to reconceptualise ethics and ethical dilemmas. In this paradigm, an adequate theory of ethics must be based on moral experiences withen specific contexts, on real people with specific identities within a specific network of relationships. An adequate theory of ethics will have to focus on real needs and how to respond appropriately to these needs. This means that more talking and more serious listening are essential to an ethical judgement and, equally important, indispensible to a true ethical person. Finally, an adequate theory of ethics will see ethical problems as problems within relationship, and a good life as a life that is lived within the continuous relationships of a balanced relational self.	en
