dc.description.abstract	วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้ มีจุดมุ่งหมาย 2 ประการคือ 1. เพื่อศึกษาถึงความเต็มใจที่จะจ่ายและค่าความเต็มใจที่จะจ่ายค่าจัดการขยะมูลฝอย และ 2. ศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อความเต็มใจที่จะจ่ายและค่าความเต็มใจที่จะจ่ายค่าจัดการขยะมูลฝอย โดยการศึกษาจะใช้ข้อมูลภาคตัดขวางที่ได้มาจากการสอบถามประชาชน ต.พระประโทน จ.นครปฐม จำนวน 232 คน ในปี พ.ศ. 2542 แล้วใช้แบบจำลองโลจิต และแบบจำลองถดถอยในการวิเคราะห์ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ประชาชนส่วนใหญ่มีความเต็มใจที่จะจ่ายร้อยละ 82.8 จากแบบจำลองโลจิต ปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อความเต็มใจที่จะจ่าย คือ การรับรู้ข่าวสารเกี่ยวกับมลพิษที่เกิดจากขยะมูลฝอย ระดับการศึกษา และการกำจัดขยะมูลฝอยโดยการจ้างรถขยะของเทศบาลหรือเอกชน มีความสัมพันธ์ในทิศทางบวกกับความเต็มใจที่จะจ่าย ที่ระดับนัยสำคัญทางสถิติเท่ากับ 0.1 และ 0.05 ตามลำดับ และเมื่อพิจารณาค่าความเต็มใจที่จะจ่าย การศึกษานี้พบว่า ผู้ที่เต็มใจที่จะจ่าย มีค่าความเต็มใจที่จะจ่ายเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 42.86 บาทต่อเดือน มากกว่าค่าจัดการขยะมูลฝอยของท้องถิ่นใกล้เคียงที่มีการเก็บค่าจัดการขยะมูลฝอยแล้ว จากแบบจำลองถดถอย ปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อค่าความเต็มใจที่จะจ่าย คือ จำนวนสมาชิกในครอบครัว และปริมาณขยะมูลฝอยที่ทิ้งต่อวัน มีความสัมพันธ์ในทิศทางบวกกับค่าความเต็มที่จะจ่าย ที่ระดับนัยสำคัญทางสถิติเท่ากับ 0.1 และ 0.01 ตามลำดับ ส่วนระยะเวลาการอยู่อาศัยและการกำจัดขยะมูลฝอยโดยการเผาหรือฝังกลบเอง มีความสัมพันธ์ในทิศทางลบกับค่าความเต็มใจที่จะจ่าย ที่ระดับนัยสำคัญทางสถิติเท่ากับ 0.01 และ 0.1 ตามลำดับ ส่วนปัจจัยอื่นๆ เช่น เพศ อาชีพ อายุ ไม่มีความสัมพันธ์อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ผลการวิเคราะห์ดังกล่าว สามารถนำไปวางแผนการกำหนดค่าจัดการขยะมูลฝอยให้สอดคล้องกับความเต็มใจที่จะจ่ายของประชาชน และทำให้ทราบว่าประชาชนในท้องถิ่นมีความต้องการให้มีโครงการจัดการขยะมูลฝอย ดังนั้นหน่วยงานของรัฐและเอกชนที่เกี่ยวข้องควรดำเนินโครงการจัดการขยะมูลฝอยในพื้นที่นี้อย่างเร่งด่วน รวมทั้งเผยแพร่ให้ประชาชนรับรู้ถึงปัญหามลพิษที่เกิดจากขยะมูลฝอย และยกระดับการศึกษาให้สูงขึ้น เพื่อให้ประชาชนตระหนักถึงการมีส่วนร่วมในการรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อม และมีความเต็มใจที่จะจ่ายค่าจัดการขยะมูลฝอย	en
dc.description.abstractalternative	This thesis aims to study the willingness to pay for municipal solid waste management of people in Prapatone, Nakhon Pathom province. It also studies the amount people are willing to pay and factors affecting the payment of solid waste management. The total 232 people in Prapatone, Nakhon Pathom are sampled in 1999. A logit model and multiple regression analysis are applied to analyze cross-section data from the survey. The study shows that most people are willing to pay for solid waste management (82.8% of samples). From logit model, the factors that affect the willingness to pay in positively relationship are the information of pollution from waste, which are statistically significant at 0.01, 0.1 and 0.05 respectively. The factors that affect the willingness in negative relationship are income and ownership, which are statistically significant at 0.1 and 0.05 respectively. The average amount that people are willing to pay is 42.86 baht per month, which are higher than actual payment in surrounding areas.From multiple regression model, the factors that affect the amount in positive relationship are family size and amount of waste, which are statisficant at 0.1 and 0.01 respectively. The factors that affect the amount in negative relationship are living period and waste disposal by burning or burying, which are statistically significant at 0.01 and 0.1 respectively. All other factors are considered insignificant. The result of this study could be utilized to determine the solid waste management fee in accordance with willingness to pay of people in the area. Therefore government agencies and private organizations that take part in this project should inform people about pollution from waste and enhance their education levels so that they can realize the important of environment conservation and then be willing to pay for solid waste management.	en
