dc.description.abstract	บทความฉบับนี้เลือกที่จะศึกษาวรรณกรรมเยาวชนเรื่อง ในดินแดนแห่ง ช็อกโกแลตกับกล้วย, เด็กสองคนมาถึงดินแดนต่างชาติ (Im Land der Schokolade und Bananen, Zwei Kinder kommen in ein fremdes Land) ของคาริน กึนดิช (Karin Gundisch) เรื่องนี้เป็นเรื่องราวของเด็กสองคนพี่น้องที่อพยพจากโรมาเนียมาอยู่เยอรมนีพร้อมกับพ่อแม่ ผู้วิจัยเห็นว่านักเขียนนวนิยายเรื่องนี้อาจจะยืมใช้ต้วเอกที่เป็นเด็กจาก นิทานซึ่งเป็นที่รู้จ้กกันดี นั่นคือ เรื่องแฮนเซลกับเกรเทล (Hansel and Gretel) ซึ่งรวบรวมโดยพี่น้องตระกูลกริมม์ (The Brothers Grimm) มาปรับเปลี่ยนด้วยการเติมเนื้อหาใหม่ลงไป ตัวบทเรื่องนื้ได้ตัดเนื้อหาที่มีความรุนแรงหรือความโหดร้ายออกไป โดยหันมาเน้นการนำเสนอครอบครัวที่อบอุ่นหรือความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างพ่อ-แม่-ลูกที่ใกล้ชิดสนิทสนมแทนการทอดทิ้งลูกเฉกเช่นที่ปรากฏในนิทาน ขณะเดียวกันได้เล่าถึงประสบการณ์การปรับตัวในสังคมใหม่ของเด็กทั้งสองคน	en_US
dc.description.abstractalternative	This paper examines In the Land of Chocolate and Bananas, Two Children Come to the Foreign Land(Im Land der Schokolade und Bananen, Zwei Kinder kommen in einfremdes Land), a German novel for children by Karin Gündisch. It is a story of two siblings who emigrated from Romania to Germany with their parents. I argue that the author might have borrowed the protagonists from the well-known fairy tale “Hansel and Gretel” in the collection of household stories by the Brothers Grimm and then altered the original fairy tale with several new elements. Unlike the original version, gruesome violence is not presented. The author focuses on the close relationship between parents and children, rather than the children being deserted in the woods. The story also shows how the two child characters adapt themselves to a new	en_US
