งานวิจัยฉบับนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ที่จะศึกษาผลกระทบที่เกิดจากปัญหาสินค้าขาดแคลน โดยศึกษาถึงปฏิกิริยาของ Gen Y และ Gen Z รวมไปถึงศึกษาถึงผลกระทบและความสูญเสียที่เกิดกับผู้ผลิตหรือผู้แทนจำหน่ายและผู้ค้าปลีก โดยใช้กรณีศึกษาแชมพูสระผมและครีมบำรุงผิวกายในช่องทางค้าปลีกทันสมัยในกรุงเทพมหานคร งานวิจัยได้ทำการเก็บข้อมูลผ่านการทำแบบสอบถามออนไลน์จากผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามจำนวน 400 คนในกรุงเทพมหานคร โดยการนำ T-test, F-test และ Chi Square มาวิเคราะห์ ซึ่งกลุ่มผู้ตอบแบบสอบถามแบ่งออกเป็น Gen Y 60% Gen Z 40.% และปฏิกิริยาเมื่อสินค้าขาดแคลนแบ่งออกเป็น 4 ทางเลือกคือเปลี่ยนตราสินค้า เปลี่ยนขนาด เปลี่ยนร้าน กลับมาซื้อวันหลัง และไม่ซื้อสินค้า เมื่อแชมพูขาดแคลน Gen Y และ Gen Z เลือกที่จะเปลี่ยนไปซื้อตราสินค้าอื่นคิดเป็นร้อยละ 29 และร้อยละ 37 ตามลำดับ เมื่อครีมบำรุงผิวกายเมื่อขาดแคลน Gen Y และ Gen Z เลือกที่จะเปลี่ยนไปซื้อร้านอื่นคิดเป็นร้อยละ 30 และร้อยละ 30 ตามลำดับ ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการตัดสินใจซื้อสินค้าแชมพูมากที่สุดคือปัจจัยทางด้านผลิตภัณฑ์ และปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อการตัดสินใจซื้อสินค้าครีมบำรุงผิวกายมากที่สุดคือปัจจัยทางด้านราคา ทั้งนี้หากสินค้าขาดแคลน ผู้ผลิตจะสูญเสียยอดขาย 1.07 บาทต่อครั้งในครีมบำรุงผิวกายและ 1.00 บาทต่อครั้งในแชมพูสระผม และผู้ค้าปลีกจะเกิดการสูญเสียยอดขาย 1.22 บาทต่อครั้งในครีมบำรุงผิวกายและ 0.96 บาทต่อครั้งในแชมพูสระผม |

The main purpose of this research is to study the reaction of consumers to retail out-of-stock with focuses on shampoo and body lotion products in retail stores in Bangkok. It examines the difference in the reaction in two consumer groups: Gen Y and Gen Z and assesses the impact of product stockout on manufacturers and retailers. The study collected data through an online survey and received a total of 400 responses divided into Gen Y 60% Gen Z 40% and applies the methods to statistically analyze. The survey specifies 4 alternative reactions to stockout including switch brands, delay purchase, switch stores, and leave the store. Facing a stockout of the desired shampoo about 29% of Gen Y and 37% of Gen Z chose to switch brands. Facing a stockout of the desired body lotion 30% of Gen Y and 30% of Gen Z chose to switch stores. Factors found to have a significant influence on purchasing shampoo and body lotion are product and price factor respectively The manufacturer will likely incur slightly more losses than the retailer during a shortage. A shortage of shampoo products will result in a 1 Baht loss for the manufacturer and a 0.96 Baht for the retailer. A shortage of body lotion will cause the manufacturer a loss of 1.07 Baht and the retailer a loss of 1.22 Baht |
