| Abstract: | การศึกษาเรื่อง มณฑลสาธารณะของการสื่อสารผ่านสื่อกลางคอมพิวเตอร์: กรณีศึกษา www.pantip.com และ www.sanook.com เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพรรณาวิเคราะห์ โดยใช้วิธีการรวบรวมข้อมูลจากเว็บบอร์ด (Web board) หรือกระดานเสวนาในเว็บไซต์ www.pantip.com และ www.sanook.com การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อศึกษาถึงลักษณะ หน้าที่ และประโยชน์ที่เกิดขึ้นในมณฑลสาธารณะของการสื่อสารผ่านสื่อกลางคอมพิวเตอร์ ระเบียบวิธีที่ใช้ คือ การวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา (Content analysis) เพื่อศึกษาถึงเนื้อหาลักษณะและหน้าที่ที่เกิดขึ้นในมณฑลสาธารณะของการสื่อสารผ่านสื่อกลางคอมพิวเตอร์ นอกจากนี้ยังใช้การสนทนากลุ่ม (Focus group) การสัมภาษณ์เจาะลึก (In-depth interview) และการส่งคำถามทางอิเล็กทรอนิกส์เมล์ (E-mail) ให้กับผู้ใช้งาน เพื่อศึกษาถึงประโยชน์ที่เกิดขึ้น ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ลักษณะในมณฑลสาธารณะของการสื่อสารผ่านสื่อกลางคอมพิวเตอร์นั้นเป็นเวทีเสวนาทางวัฒนธรรม (Cultural forum) ที่มีประเด็นตามความสนใจของผู้ใช้งาน และยังมีลักษณะเป็นชุมชนเสมือน (Virtual community) ที่เกิดขึ้นขนานไปกับโลกแห่งความเป็นจริง ลักษณะการมีส่วนร่วมเป็นการปฏิสัมพันธ์กับเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ (Machine interactivity) หน้าที่ในมณฑลสาธารณะของการสื่อสารผ่านสื่อกลางคอมพิวเตอร์คือเป็นช่องทางให้ผู้ใช้งานมีส่วนร่วมในหน้าที่ดังต่อไปนี้ คือ การให้ข้อมูลสาธารณะ การสอดส่องดูแลสภาพแวดล้อมการกระตุ้นเร้าและผลักดันเพื่อพัฒนาผลประโยชน์แห่งชาติ การสร้างสายสัมพันธ์ การให้ความบันเทิง และช่องทางการสื่อสารต้องห้าม นอกจากนี้แล้ว ผู้ใช้งานยังใช้มณฑลสาธารณะของการสื่อสารผ่านสื่อกลางคอมพิวเตอร์เพื่อประโยชน์และความพึงพอใจของตนเองดังนี้ คือ การใช้มณฑลสาธารณะของการสื่อสารผ่านสื่อกลางคอมพิวเตอร์เพื่อตอบสนองความต้องการส่วนตัว เป็นแหล่งข้อมูลเพื่อรับฟังความคิดเห็นจากคนอื่นๆ เพื่อนำไปเป็นประโยชน์ต่อตัวเอง และใช้เพื่อเป็นตัวกลางในการสร้างสัมพันธ์กับคนอื่นๆ |
| Other Abstract: | Public sphere of computer-mediated communication: a case study of www.pantip.com and www.sanook.com is the analytical research. The objectives of this research are to study characteristics, functions, and uses of this public sphere. Data was gathered from web boards in www.pantip.com and www.sanook.com. The content analysis technique was employed to discover its characteristics and functions of public sphere. Besides, focus group, in-depth interview and e-mail were used to study the users and their usage of the web boards. The findings indicate that public sphere of computer-mediated communication is the cultural forum segmented by the users' interests. This public sphere comprises the virtual community which is the para space of the real world. Participation is characterized by computer-mediated communication or machine interactivity. Its functions include information gathering and dissemination, surveillance, mobilization, correlation, entertainment and taboo communication. All functions are acted by the users of this public sphere. Furthermore, the uses of this public sphere are to gratify uses' needs. The users use the public sphere to learn others' opinions for their own advantages. Besides, the users employ the public sphere to create relations with other participants. |
