| Abstract: | วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัย เพื่อศึกษาปัญหาการเรียนและการสอนวิชาภูมิศาสตร์ ในชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น ในเขตศึกษา 4 ผลของการวิจัยครั้งนี้ อาจจะเป็นแนวทางในการปรับปรุง แก้ไข การเรียนการสอนวิชาภูมิศาสตร์ให้ดียิ่งขึ้น วิธีดำเนินการวิจัย ผู้วิจัยได้สร้างแบบสอบถาม แบบมาตรส่วนประเมินค่า แบบให้เลือกคำตอบ และตอบโดยเสรี และส่งแบบสอบถามนี้ไปยังผู้บริหาร 9 คน ครูผู้สอนวิชาภูมิศาสตร์ ชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น 32 คน และนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น 500 คน ในโรงเรียนรัฐบาล 9 แห่ง ผู้วิจัยวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยคำนวณหาค่ามัชฌิมเลขคณิต ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และค่าร้อยละแล้วนำเสนอในรูปตารางและบทความ สรุปผลการวิจัย 1. ผู้บริหารและนักเรียนมีความเห็นตรงกันว่า ปัญหาเกี่ยวกับครูผู้สอนวิชาภูมิศาสตร์เป็นปัญหาน้อย ครูส่วนใหญ่มีความรู้ ความเข้าใจเนื้อหาในหลักสูตรและมีวิธีการสอนดี 2. ปัญหาเกี่ยวกับการบริหารและผู้บริหารโรงเรียน ปรากฏว่ามีปัญหาเกี่ยวกับการขาดครูที่มีวุฒิปริญญาตรี ทางวิชาภูมิศาสตร์โดยตรง ขาดงบประมาณเพื่อซื้อหนังสือและอุปกรณ์ ครูผู้สอนวิชาภูมิศาสตร์มีปัญหาที่เกิดจากผู้บริหารในด้านลักษณะการบริหารที่ไม่เป็นประชาธิปไตยและไม่สนับสนุนให้ครูมีโอกาสศึกษาอบรมเพื่อพัฒนาการทางวิชาชีพ ตลอดจนการไม่จัดสรรงบประมาณสำหรับจัดซื้ออุปกรณ์การสอนให้พอเพียง 3. ปัญหาเกี่ยวกับแบบเรียน ครูส่วนมากระบุว่า หนังสือแบบเรียนยังขาดคุณภาพ ควรปรับปรุงเกี่ยวกับภาพประกอบ แผนที่ และเนื้อหาให้เหมาะสมกับเหตุการณ์ปัจจุบัน 4. ปัญหาเกี่ยวกับครูผู้สอนวิชาภูมิศาสตร์ ครูส่วนใหญ่เห็นความสำคัญ และมีความเข้าใจในแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับลักษณะของวิชาภูมิศาสตร์ โดยเฉลี่ยแล้วอยู่ในระดับค่อนข้างดี สำหรับปัญหาเกี่ยวกับการสอนของครู ครูส่วนมากมีปัญหาเรื่องขาดแหล่งศึกษาค้นคว้าหาความรู้เพิ่มเติม ขาดอุปกรณ์การสอน และต้องการความช่วยเหลือทั้งทางด้านวิธีการสอนและการวัดผล 5. ปัญหาเกี่ยวกับหลักสูตร หลักสูตรที่ใช้มีเนื้อหาบางตอนมากเกินไป และซ้ำซ้อนกับเนื้อหาในหมวดวิชาอื่น เช่นวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์ ครูและนักเรียนส่วนมากมีความเห็นตรงกันว่าควรเพิ่มเวลาเรียนวิชาภูมิศาสตร์เป็นสัปดาห์ละ 2 ชั่วโมง |
| Other Abstract: | The purpose of this research was to study the problems in teaching geography at the lower secondary level in educational region 4 in order to findout recommendation for improvement Procedures : There were three different types of questionnaire : rating scale, multiple choice and open-end. The questionnaires were sent to nine administrators, thirty-two geography teachers and five hundred students in nine lower secondary government schools. The obtained data were analyzed by means of arithmetic mean, standard deviation and percentage, and then tabulated and explained descriptively. Conclusions : 1. The administrators and the students pointed out that the problems were only few concerning geography teachers. Most of the geography teachers were qualified and understood the curriculum content and the teaching methodology well. 2. The problems concerning administrative procedure and the administrators were as follows : there were only few number of geography specialized teachers at the bachelors degree level and the shortage of budget to buy instructional materials. The geography teachers pointed out that another problems were that the administrators were not democratic and did not encourage them to have an opportunity to get professional promotion by joining academic training and did not provide enough budget for instructional materials. 3. Most of the teachers suggested that the geography texts should be improved regarding to the illustrations, the maps and the content should be updated. 4. Most of the geography teachers realized the importance of this subject and highly understood the geography main concepts. The teachers' problems about teaching methodology were a lack educational resources and instructional materials. The teachers also needed help in improving teaching and evaluating techniques. 5. Concerning the curriculum, some part of the content over-lapped with other subjects such as science etc. Most of the teachers and students mentioned that the time allotment for geography should be added to 2 hours per week. |
