| Abstract: | การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) อธิบายลักษณะทางกายภาพ เศรษฐกิจ และสังคม รวมทั้งองค์ประกอบของทรัพยากรการท่องเที่ยวในเขตเทศบาลนครสงขลา 2) วิเคราะห์รูปแบบการใช้พื้นที่แหล่งท่องเที่ยวในเขตเทศบาลนครสงขลา 3) เสนอแนะแนวทางในการพัฒนาและปรับปรุงพื้นที่แหล่งท่องเที่ยวในเขตเทศบาลนครสงขลา โดยเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการศึกษาประกอบด้วย การสำรวจและการสังเกตการณ์ และ การใช้แบบสอบถามกลุ่มตัวอย่างนักท่องเที่ยวชาวไทย และประชาชนในพื้นที่ ผลการศึกษาพบว่าเทศบาลนครสงขลาประกอบไปด้วยแหล่งท่องเที่ยว 3 ประเภท คือ แหล่งท่องเที่ยวทางธรรมชาติ แหล่งท่องเที่ยวทางประวัติศาสตร์และโบราณสถาน แหล่งท่องเที่ยวทางวัฒนธรรมและกิจกรรม และด้วยองค์ประกอบของพื้นที่แหล่งท่องเที่ยวแต่ละประเภทที่มีความแตกต่างกัน ส่งผลให้เกิดพฤติกรรมการใช้พื้นที่ที่หลากหลาย ทั้งนี้แหล่งท่องเที่ยวนอกจากมีความสำคัญต่อการเป็นพื้นที่เพื่อการท่องเที่ยวและการพักผ่อนหย่อนใจแล้ว ยังมีความสำคัญในการเป็นพื้นที่เพื่อการค้าและประกอบอาชีพของประชาชนในเมือง และ เป็นพื้นที่ศูนย์รวมกิจกรรมทางสังคมจากการจัดงานเทศกาลและประเพณีท้องถิ่น ซึ่งแหล่งท่องเที่ยวแต่ละประเภทอาจมีกิจกรรมการใช้พื้นที่ที่เหมือนหรือแตกต่างกัน จากการศึกษาสามารถสรุปรูปแบบการใช้พื้นแหล่งท่องเที่ยวจากประเภทของกิจกรรมที่เกิดขึ้นได้ 3 ประเภท คือ แหล่งท่องเที่ยวที่มีการใช้พื้นที่จากกิจกรรมที่หลากหลาย แหล่งท่องเที่ยวที่จำกัดกิจกรรมและช่วงเวลาการเข้าใช้ และแหล่งท่องเที่ยวที่เป็นพื้นที่เพื่อการพักผ่อนหย่อนใจของเมือง จากผลการศึกษาสามารถเสนอแนะแนวทางการพัฒนาและปรับปรุงพื้นที่แหล่งท่องเที่ยวออกเป็น 4 แนวทาง คือ 1) แนวทางการจัดการด้านทรัพยากรการท่องเที่ยวและสิ่งแวดล้อม 2) แนวทางการพัฒนาและปรับปรุงระบบการคมนาคมขนส่งและการสัญจร 3) แนวทางการปรับปรุงองค์ประกอบและสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวก/บริการ 4) แนวทางการพัฒนาและส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยว โดยคำนึงถึงความเป็นเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะที่เป็นสิ่งดึงดูดใจและคาดหวังในการเดินทางของนักท่องเที่ยว และสามารถตอบสนองความต้องการของประชาชนในการใช้พื้นที่เพื่อการพักผ่อนหย่อนใจ ศูนย์รวมทางสังคม การศึกษา วิถีชีวิตและวัฒนธรรมท้องถิ่นที่สำคัญอย่างยั่งยืน |
| Other Abstract: | Objectives of this study were to 1) explain physical, economic and social characteristics as well as tourist resources in Nakorn Songkhla Municipality 2) analyze patterns of area uses at tourist attractions in Nakorn Songkhla Municipality 3) suggest guidelines for the development and improvement of tourism areas in Nakorn Songkhla Municipality. Tools used in the study included surveys and observations as well as questionnaires responded by samplings of Thai tourists and local people. It was found in the study that Nakorn Songkhla Municipality had comprised 3 types of tourist attractions consisting of natural tourist attractions, historical and archaeological tourist attractions and cultural tourist attractions and activities. Moreover, various elements of areas of each type of tourist attractions had led to variety of area use behaviors. Tourism areas, apart from playing a vital role in being tourist places and places of relaxation, had been also important as trading areas and working places of local people. As well, these tourism areas had become centers of social activities and local festivals and traditions. Each type of tourist attractions might be good for similar or different activities of area uses. According to the study, it could be concluded that patterns of uses tourism areas had been caused from three types of activities including tourist attractions of which area uses had been caused from variety of activities, tourist attractions for activities and specific times and tourist attractions for relaxation of local people. The study led to four guidelines for the development and improvement of tourism areas comprising 1) guidelines for tourist resources and environment management 2) guidelines for the development and improvement of transportation and travel systems 3) guidelines for the improvement of essential elements and facilities/ services 4) guidelines for the development and promotion of tourism by considering uniqueness of each tourist place used as attractions and expectations of tourists as well as ability to sustainably respond to the needs of people in using areas for relaxation, social centers, education, way of life and local culture. |
