| Abstract: | วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัย เพื่อศึกษาสัมฤทธิผลทางการเรียนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนที่เรียนโดย “วิธีเงียบ” และเพื่อเปรียบเทียบสัมฤทธิผลที่ได้จากการทดสอบก่อนและหลังการสอนโดยวิธีดังกล่าว วิธีดำเนินการวิจัย ผู้วิจัยเริ่มดำเนินการโดยศึกษาทฤษฎีหลักการและแนวการสอนภาษาต่างประเทศโดย “วิธีเงียบ” สร้างแบบสอบสัมฤทธิผลทางการเรียนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษขึ้น 1 ชุด ประกอบด้วยแบบสอบถามการฟัง การพูด การอ่าน และการเขียน มีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์แห่งความเชื่อมั่น ซึ่งคำนวณโดยการใช้สูตรอัลฟา (Coefficient Alpha) เท่ากับ .72 นำแบบสอบไปใช้ทดสอบก่อนและหลังการสอนกับกลุ่มตัวอย่างประชากร ซึ่งได้แก่นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 3 โรงเรียนประถมสาธิตมหาวิทยาลัยศรีนครินทรวิโรฒ ประสานมิตร จำนวน 25 คน ดำเนินการสอนโดย “วิธีเงียบ” เป็นเวลา 4 สัปดาห์ ๆ ละ 5 คาบ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยทดสอบค่าที (t – test) และหาค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบเพียร์สัน (Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient) ผลการวิจัย การตรวจสอบคุณภาพของแบบสอบหลังการนำไปใช้ มีค่าประสิทธิ์แห่งความเชื่อมั่นเป็น .93 คะแนนเฉลี่ยการทดสอบก่อนและหลังการสอน ต่างกันที่ระดับความมีนัยสำคัญ .01 และแตกต่างกันในทุกทักษะ แสดงว่า นักเรียนเกิดการเรียนรู้และมีพัฒนาการทางภาษาเพิ่มขึ้น โดยเฉพาะการพูด มีคะแนนพัฒนาการสูงที่สุด รองลงมาคือการเขียน การอ่านและการฟัง ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างคะแนนการทดสอบก่อนและหลังการสอนเป็นไปในทางบวก ระดับปานกลาง โดยมีค่าสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ .47 และมีระดับความมีนัยสำคัญ .05 ผลการสัมภาษณ์นักเรียนหลังการสอน แสดงให้เห็นว่า นักเรียนมีทัศนคติที่ดีในการเรียนภาษาอังกฤษ มีความมั่นใจในตนเองและมีโอกาสฝึกการใช้ภาษาอย่างมาก |
| Other Abstract: | Purposes The purposes of this research were to study the English achievement of the students at elementary level taught by using “The Silent Way” ; and to compare the achievement scores between pre- test and post- test. Procedures The researcher first studied the language teaching methodology of “The Silent Way”. Then the English achievement test was constructed to test the 4 language skills. By using Coefficient Alpha, the reliability was .72. The test was used as both pre-test and post-test with the sample of 25 Pratom Suksa Three students, at the Srinakharinwirot University Elementary School Prasarnmit. The teaching experiment took 4 weeks, 5 periods per week. The t- test and Pearson Product Moment Correlation Coefficient were used to find the level of significant difference and correlation coefficient. Results The Coefficient reliability of the post – test was .93. The significant difference in achievement between pre- test and post- test was at .01 level and there were significantly different in every skill which showed the language improvement of the students, especially in speaking skill. The other skills ; writing reading and listening were also developed accordingly. The correlation coefficient between pre – test and post – test was .47 and the significant difference was at .05 level. According to the interviewed by the researcher, the attitudes of students towards the teaching method was desirable. They demonstrated more self-confidence and were given every possible chance in practice using the language. |
