| Abstract: | จุดประสงค์ของการวิจัยครั้งนี้เพื่อศึกษารวบรวมข้อมูลในการลงรายการหนังสือชุดภาษาไทยที่ห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัย และหอสมุดแห่งชาติในประเทศไทยใช้เหมือนกันและใช้แตกต่างกัน วิเคราะห์เปรียบเทียบข้อมูลที่ได้กับหลักเกณฑ์มาตรฐาน คือ หลักเกณฑ์การทำบัตรรายการแบบแองโกล – อเมริกัน ฉบับพิมพ์ครั้งที่ 2 (AACR 2 ) และเสนอแนวทางในการลงรายการหนังสือชุดภาษาไทยที่ห้องสมุดดังกล่าวเห็นว่าสมควร เพื่อสนองนโยบายการจัดทำบัตรรายการร่วมกันของห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัย การรวบรวมข้อมูลใช้แบบสอบถาม 12 ฉบับ ส่งไปยังบรรณารักษ์หัวหน้าฝ่ายจัดหมู่และทำบัตรรายการหนังสือภาษาไทย ของห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยและหอสมุดแห่งชาติ 12 แห่ง ผู้วิจัยได้รับแบบสอบถามคืนทั้งหมด 100 เปอร์เซ็นต์ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยและหอสมุดแห่งชาติในประเทศไทยทั้ง 12 แห่ง มีการปฏิบัติเกี่ยวกับหลักเกณฑ์การลงรายการหนังสือชุดภาษาไทยแตกต่างกันทั้งทางด้านนโยบายและข้อมูลในการลงรายการหนังสือชุดภาษาไทย กล่าวคือ หนังสือหลักเกณฑ์การทำบัตรรายการหนังสือชุดภาไทยที่ห้องสมุดทั้ง 12 แห่ง ใช้เป็นหนังสือภาษาไทย และหนังสือภาษาต่างประเทศ รวม 9 เล่ม โดยห้องสมุดส่วนใหญ่จะใช้หนังสือหลักเกณฑ์ทั้งหนังสือภาไทยและหนังสือภาษาต่างประเทศควบคู่กันไป 2 เล่ม ดังนั้นนโยบายในการจัดทำบัตรรายการหนังสือชุดภาษาไทยของห้องสมุดส่วนใหญ่ คือทำบัตรรายการเฉพาะเล่มและทำบัตรเพิ่มชื่อหนังสือชุด ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่มีนโยบายจัดทำบัตรเพิ่มชื่อหนังสือชุดภาษาไทยเฉพาะหนังสือชุดของสถาบันการศึกษา มีบางห้องสมุดที่มีนโยบายจัดทำบัตรเพิ่มชื่อหนังสือชุดภาษาไทยทุกชื่อชุด และไม่มีนโยบายในการจัดทำบัตรเพิ่มชื่อหนังสือชุดภาษาไทยเลยและห้องสมุดส่วนใหญ่จะทำบัตรเพิ่มให้กับหนังสือทุกชื่อเรื่องที่อยู่ในชุดเดียวกัน ด้านข้อมูลในการลงรายการหนังสือชุดภาษาไทยนั้น ห้องสมุดส่วนใหญ่นิยมลงรายการหลักด้วยชื่อผู้แต่งที่เป็นบุคคล ลงรายการชื่อเรื่องด้วยชื่อเรื่องเฉพาะแต่ละเล่มและลงรายการชื่อหนังสือชุดด้วยชื่อหนังสือชุด และเล่มที่หรือลำดับที่ของหนังสือชุด ส่วนการลงรายการในบัตรเพิ่มชื่อหนังสือชุด ห้องสมุดส่วนใหญ่จะลงรายการเพิ่มด้วย ชื่อหนังสือชุด และเล่มที่หรือลำดับที่ของหนังสือชุด ไม่มีห้องสมุดแห่งใดเลยที่ลงรายการหนังสือชุดภาษาไทยสมบูรณ์ตามหลักเกณฑ์การทำบัตรรายการแบบแองโกล – อเมริกัน ฉบับพิมพ์ครั้งที่ 2 แต่มีบางห้องสมุดมีแนวโน้มจะลงรายการชื่อหนังสือชุด และรายการเพิ่มในบัตรหลักและบัตรเพิ่มชื่อหนังสือชุดภาษาไทยตามหลักเกณฑ์การทำบัตรรายการฉบับมาตรฐานนี้ ข้อเสนอแนะ 1. บรรณารักษ์ฝ่ายทำบัตรรายการของห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยและหอสมุดแห่งชาติควรจะได้ร่วมมือกันอย่างจริงจัง ปรับปรุงหลักเกณฑ์การลงรายการหนังสือชุดภาษาไทยในด้าน การลงรายการหลัก รายการชื่อเรื่อง รายการชื่อหนังสือชุด และการทำบัตรเพิ่มชื่อหนังสือชุด และควรมีการจัดทำคู่มือหลักเกณฑ์การลงรายการหนังสือชุดภาษาไทยขึ้น 2. ห้องสมุดควรจัดทำบัตรรวมหนังสือชุดด้วย 3. เมื่อมีการนำเทคโนโลยีด้านคอมพิวเตอร์มาใช้ในการทำบัตรรายการ และเพื่อเป็นการสะดวกในการค้นหาข้อมูลของหนังสือชุดภาษาไทย ห้องสมุดควรลงรายการชื่อหนังสือชุดให้สมบูรณ์ตามหลักเกณฑ์การทำบัตรรายการแบบแองโกล – อเมริกัน ฉบับพิมพ์ครั้งที่ 2 4. โรงเรียนบรรณารักษศาสตร์ ควรปรับปรุงการเรียนการสอนวิชาการทำบัตรรายการ โดยควรจะเน้นการทำบัตรรายการหนังสือชุดภาษาไทย 5. ผู้จัดทำหรือผู้ผลิตหนังสือชุด ควรปรับปรุงการผลิตหนังสือชุดให้ได้มาตรฐานโดยเฉพาะ หนังสือชุดของสถาบันการศึกษาและหนังสือชุดของหน่วยราชการ |
| Other Abstract: | The purposes of this thesis were: to study the similarities and differences of the cataloguing data for Thai series currently practiced by the university libraries and the National Library in Thailand; to compare the research data with the Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules, second edition (AACR 2); and to present the cataloguing approaches for Thai series upon which most libraries agreed in order that the desirable co cataloguing policy for the university libraries can be formulated uniformly and effectively. Data were collected through a number of 12 questionnaires distributed to the Head Librarians of Thai Books Classification and Cataloguing Department in 12 libraries. The completed questionnaires were totally returned. The results of the research disclosed that 12 university libraries and the National Library have different cataloguing methods and follow different policies. Most libraries consult both Thai and English cataloguing rules. Apparently 9 volumes of cataloguing manuals are being used. Cataloguing policies for Thai series discovered from the research illustrated that a main card for each title and a series card are applied in the majority of libraries. Some libraries have series cards for all Thai series while some do not have. Most libraries print added cards for each book in a same series. Research findings also revealed that most of the libraries apply a personal auther as a main entry, a book little as a title area and a series title with a series number as a series area. Name of the libraries completely followed the AACR 2, but some libraries have considered the full AACR 2 implementation for Thai series. Recommendations:- 1. Catalogers of both university libraries and the National Library should actively collaborate in order to standardize as well as publish manuals for Thai series cataloguing rules in terms of unified main entries, title entries, series area and added entries. 2. A Combined series card should be produced. 3. Libraries should catalog a series area completely following the AACR 2 in preparation for future computer application, then searching Thai series data can be facilitated. 4. Library Schools should consider revising as well as redinecting cataloguing courses. Thai series cataloguing should be more emphasized. 5. Publishers, editors and authors of Thai series should regard the established standards for series printing in order that more qualitation volume can be produced. |
