dc.description.abstractการวิจัยครั้งนี้มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ ระหว่างกลุ่มนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ที่เรียนด้วยระบบวิธีสอนแบบใหม่ (คือเรียนตามระดับความสามารถของแต่ละบุคคล) กับกลุ่มนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ที่เรียนด้วยระบบวิธีสอนแบบเดิม (คือเรียนตามแบบธรรมดา) ในโรงเรียนสาธิตจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย โดยมุ่งเปรียบเทียบในด้านความสามารถในการฟัง การอ่าน และการเขียน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย เป็นแบบสอบ 3 ฉบับ ซึ่งผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้นเอง ได้แก่ แบบสอบความเข้าใจในการฟัง แบบสอบความเข้าใจในการอ่าน และแบบสอบความสามารถในการเขียน ซึ่งได้นำมาวิเคราะห์ก่อนนำไปใช้จริง แบบสอบทั้งสามฉบับนี้อยู่ในเกณฑ์ง่ายแต่มีอำนาจจำแนกสูง แบบสอบความเข้าใจในการฟัง มีค่าความเชื่อถือได้ .743 แบบสอบความเข้าใจในการอ่าน มีค่าความเชื่อถือได้ .852 และแบบสอบความสามารถในการเขียน มีค่าความเชื่อถือได้ .908 นำแบบสอบทั้งสามฉบับไปทดสอบกับนักเรียนกลุ่มตัวอย่างที่จับคู่ไว้ 32 คู่ โดยใช้คะแนนร้อยละของการสอบไล่ปลายปีชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2516 เป็นเกณฑ์ในการจับคู่กลุ่มตัวอย่าง นำคะแนนที่ได้มาทดสอบความมีนัยสำคัญของค่าความแตกต่างระหว่างมัชฌิมเลขคณิต โดยการทดสอบค่าที (t-test method) ผลการวิจัย 1. ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ระหว่างนักเรียนที่เรียนตามระดับความสามารถของแต่ละบุคคล กับนักเรียนที่เรียนตามแบบธรรมดาในโรงเรียนสาธิตจุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัยไม่แตกต่างกัน 2. ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษด้านความเข้าใจในการฟัง และการอ่านของนักเรียนทั้งสองกลุ่มไม่แตกต่างกัน 3. นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ที่เรียนตามแบบธรรมดา มีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษด้านความสามารถในการเขียน สูงกว่านักเรียนที่เรียนตามระดับความสามารถของแต่ละบุคคล อย่างมีนัยสำคัญที่ระดับ .05
dc.description.abstractalternativeThe purpose of this study was to compare the achievements in English between Prathom Suksa Four students in the Individualized and the Conventional Classrooms, Chulalongkorn University Demonstration school. The English achievement tests constructed by the investigator consisted of a listening skill test, a reading comprehension test and a writing skill test. The three tests which were pretested were quite easy but highly discriminatory. The reliability of the English listening skill test was .743 of the reading comprehension test was .852 and that of the writing skill test was .908. The three English achievement tests were administered to 32 matching pairs of pupils who had equal score in Prathom Suksa 2 in the academic year 1973. In analyzing the data, in comparing the achievement in English concerning Listening Skill, Reading Comprehension and Writing Skill, t-test method was used. The major findings were as follows: 1. There was no significant difference in English between Prathom Suksa Four Students in the Individualized and the Conventional Classrooms; 2. There were no significant difference between the Individualized and the Conventional Classrooms in English Listening Skill and Reading Comprehension; 3.The Conventional Classroom had better achievement than the Individualized Classroom in English Writing skill at the .05 level.
