dc.description.abstractการวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ที่จะศึกษาความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษคหกรรมของนักเรียนโปรแกรมคหกรรมในระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย และระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพและเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษคหกรรมของนักเรียนทั้ง 2 กลุ่ม ดังกล่าว ตัวอย่างประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นนักเรียนโปรแกรมคหกรรม ระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย สังกัดกรมสามัญศึกษา กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ จำนวน 380 คน และนักศึกษาโปรแกรมคหกรรม ระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพชั้นปีที่ 3 ในวิทยาลัยอาชีวศึกษา วิทยาลัยเทคนิค และวิทยาลัยเกษตรกรรม สังกัดกรมอาชีวศึกษา กระทรวงศึกษาธิการ จำนวน 380 คน ซึ่งได้มาด้วยวิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างประชากรแบบหลายชั้น คือ สุ่มจังหวัดในแต่ละเขตการศึกษามาร้อยละ 25 แล้วสุ่มโรงเรียนและวิทยาลัยในแต่ละจังหวัดที่สุ่มมาได้ร้อยละ 25 ได้โรงเรียน 20 แห่ง และวิทยาลัย 19 แห่ง จากนั้นผู้วิจัยจึงสุ่มนักเรียนในโรงเรียน และวิทยาลัยเหล่านั้น ด้วยวิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างประชากรแบบง่ายมาแห่งละ 19 คน และ 20 คน ตามลำดับ เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบสอบวัดความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษคหกรรมซึ่งผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้นโดยกำหนดวัตถุประสงค์และเนื้อหาที่ใช้ในการทดสอบให้สอดคล้องกับหลักสูตรและแบบเรียนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษคหกรรม จากนั้นผู้วิจัยได้นำแบบสอบไปให้ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ รวม 5 ท่าน ตรวจสอบด้านความตรงตามเนื้อหาและความถูกต้องเหมาะสมด้านภาษาและหลักเกณฑ์การทดสอบแล้วจึงนำแบบสอบไปทดลองใช้รวม 3 ครั้ง แบบสอบได้รับการแก้ไขปรับปรุงจนข้อทดสอบทุกข้ออยู่ในเกณฑ์ที่จะนำไปใช้ได้ คือ มีค่าอำนาจจำแนกและค่าความยากง่ายอยู่ระหว่าง .20 - .80 และค่าความเที่ยวของแบบทดสอบเท่ากับ .77 ได้ข้อทดสอบทั้งหมด 80 ข้อ แบ่งเป็น 4 ตอน ได้แก่ ทักษะการฟัง 15 ข้อ, ทักษะการพูด 13 ข้อ , ทักษะการอ่าน 29 ข้อ และทักษะการเขียน 23 ข้อ ในเวลาในการทดสอบ 1 ชั่วโมง 40 นาที เมื่อนำแบบสอบวัดความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษคหกรรมไปใช้กับกลุ่มตัวอย่างประชากรที่คัดเลือกไว้แล้วจึงนำข้อมูลที่ได้มาวิเคราะห์หาคะแนนเฉลี่ยคิดเป็นร้อยละ ค่ามัชฌิมเลขคณิต ค่าส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบค่าที (t-test) ผลการวิจัยพบว่านักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย และระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพได้คะแนนเฉลี่ยคิดเป็นร้อยละต่ำกว่าครึ่งหนึ่งของคะแนนเต็มในการทำแบบสอบทุกทักษะ โดยนักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายได้คะแนนเฉลี่ยในการทำแบบสอบทักษะการอ่านสูงกว่าทักษะอื่น และคะแนนเฉลี่ยในการทำแบบสอบทักษะการพูดต่ำสุด ส่วนนักศึกษาระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพได้คะแนนเฉลี่ยในการทำแบบสอบทักษะการฟังสูงกว่าทักษะอื่นและคะแนนเฉลี่ยในการทำแบบสอบทักษะการเขียนต่ำสุด ในการเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษคหกรรมของนักเรียนระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย และระดับประกาศนียบัตรวิชาชีพ พบว่าไม่แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 ซึ่งไม่เป็นไปตามสมมุติฐานการวิจัยที่ตั้งไว้ แต่เมื่อพิจารณาเป็นรายทักษะพบว่า ความสามารถในการฟัง พูด และอ่านของนักเรียนทั้ง 2 กลุ่มแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 ในขณะที่ความสามารถในการเขียนของนักเรียนทั้ง 2 กลุ่ม ไม่แตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
dc.description.abstractalternativeThe purposes of this study were to study the English proficiency for Home Science of students in Home Science program at the upper secondary education level and the certificate of vocational education level and to compare the English proficiency for Home Science of these two groups of students. The samples of this study consisted of 380 matayomsuksa six student in upper secondary schools under the Department of General Education, Ministry of Education and 380 third-year students at the certificate of vocational education level in vocational, technical and agricultural colleges under the Department of Vocational Education, Ministry of Education. They were selected by means of multi-stage random sampling. Twenty-five percent of provinces were drawn from twelve educational regions and Bangkok Metropolis. From selected provinces, twenty-five percent of upper secondary schools and of vocational, technical or agricultural colleges were selected at random. After that nineteen matayomsuksa six students and twenty third-year students in each school and college were selected by means of simple random sampling. The instrument of this study was Home Science English proficiency test, constructed with the objectives and the contents in accordance with those in the curriculum as well as the textbooks of Home Science English, by the researcher. The content validity and the appropriateness of the test were checked by five experts in English teaching field. Then the test was tried out for three times and improved until the power of discrimination and the level of difficulty of the test items were between .20 and .80 and the reliability of the test was .77. The test consisted of eighty items, divided into four parts : 15 items for listening skill, 13 items for speaking skill, 29 items for reading and 23 items for writing skills. It took one hour and fourty minutes to do the test. After using the test with the selected samples, the obtained data was analyzed by means of percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test. The major findings of this study were as follows : Average scores of students at the upper secondary education level and the certificate of vocational education level were below half of the total mark of the test. The students at the upper secondary education level got the highest average score in reading skill and the lowest in speaking skill. The students at the certificate of vocational education level got the highest average score in listening and the lowest in writing skills. When the average scores of the two groups were compared, it was found that there was no significant difference at the level of .05, which rejected the hypothesis. However, when the average scores in each skill of the two groups were compared, it was found that there was significant difference at the level of .05 in listening, speaking and reading skills while there was no significant difference in writing skill.
