| Abstract: | การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาและเปรียบเทียบความรู้และความสามารถในการเขียนภาษาอังกฤษเชิงบรรยายระหว่างนักเรียนในมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ในโรงเรียนรัฐบาลและโรงเรียนเอกชนในกรุงเทพมหานคร กลุ่มตัวอย่างประชากรที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ปีการศึกษา 2536 ในโรงเรียนรัฐบาลจำนวน 210 คน และในโรงเรียนเอกชนจำนวน 210 คน ซึ่งได้จากการสุ่มแบบหลายขั้นตอน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบวัดความรู้ในการเขียนภาษาอังกฤษเชิงบรรยาย 1 ฉบับ และแบบสอบวัดความสามารถ 1 ฉบับที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้น โดยได้รับการตรวจสอบความตรงเชิงเนื้อหาจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิจำนวน 5 ท่าน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ค่ามัชณิมเลขคณิต ค่ามัชฌิมเลขคณิตคิดเป็น ร้อยละ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และอัตราส่วนวิกฤต ผลการวิจัยสรุปไค้ดังนี้ 1. นักเรียนโรงเรียนรัฐบาลและนักเรียนโรงเรียนเอกชนได้ค่ามัชณิมเลขคณิตคิดเป็นร้อยละของคะแนนความรู้ในการเขียนภาษาอังกฤษเชิงบรรยายสูงกว่าครึ่งหนึ่งของคะแนนเต็ม โดยไค้ค่า มัชณิมเลขคณิตคิดเป็นร้อยละเท่ากับ 51.44 และ 63.31 ตามลำดับ และเมื่อพิจารณาในแต่ละด้านของ ความรู้ในการเขียนภาษาอังกฤษเชิงบรรยาย พบว่า นักเรียนโรงเรียนรัฐบาลได้คะแนนความรู้สูงสุดในด้านการเรียบเรียงข้อความ และได้คะแนนความรู้ต่ำสุดในด้านเนื้อหาที่สัมพันธ์กับเรื่องที่เขียน ส่วนนักเรียนโรงเรียนเอกชนได้คะแนนความรู้สูงสุดในด้านคำศัพท์ และได้คะแนนความรู้ต่ำสุดในด้านลักษณะ ของการเขียนภาษาอังกฤษเชิงบรรยาย 2. นักเรียนโรงเรียนรัฐบาลได้ค่ามัชฌิมเลขคณิตคิดเป็นร้อยละของคะแนนความสามารถในการเขียนภาษาอังกฤษเชิงบรรยายต่ำกว่าครึ่งหนึ่งของคะแนนเต็มโดยได้ค่ามัชฌิมเลขคณิตคิดเป็นร้อยละเท่ากับ 42.29 ส่วนนักเรียนโรงเรียนเอกชนได้ค่ามัชฌิมเลขคณิตคิดเป็นร้อยละของคะแนนความสามารถ ในการเขียนภาษาอังกฤษเชิงบรรยายว่า กว่าครึ่งหนึ่งของคะแนนเต็ม โดยได้ค่ามัชฌิมเลขคณิตคิดเป็นร้อย ละเท่ากับ 56.38 แต่เมื่อพิจารณาในแต่ละด้านของความสามารถในการเขียนภาษาอังกฤษเชิงบรรยาย พบว่า นักเรียนทั้งสองกลุ่มไค้คะแนนความสามารถสูงสุดในด้านกลไกในการเขียน และไค้คะแนนความสามารถต่ำสุดในค้านไวยากรณ์ 3. ในการเปรียบเทียบความรู้และความสามารถในการเขียนภาษาอังกฤษเชิงบรรยาย ระหว่างนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ในโรงเรียนรัฐบาลและโรงเรียนเอกชนในกรุงเทพมหานครพบว่า นักเรียนโรงเรียนเอกชนได้ค่ามัชฌิมเลขคณิตของคะแนนรวมความรู้และความสามารถในการิเขียนภาษาอังกฤษเชิงบรรยาย และคะแนนเมื่อแยกเป็นด้านความรู้และด้านความสามารถสูงกว่านักเรียนโรงเรียนรัฐบาลอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 ซึ่งเป็นไปตามสมมุติฐานการวิจัยที่ตั้งไว้ |
| Other Abstract: | The purposes of this study were to study the knowledge and ability in English descriptive writing of mathayom suksa six students in government and private schools in Bangkok Metropolis and to compare the knowledge and ability in English descriptive-writing between the two groups. The subjects were 210 government school students and 210 private school students in the 1993 academic year selected by a multi-stage random sampling technique. The instruments used in this study were a test of knowledge and a test of ability in English descriptive-writing constructed by the researcher. The content validity of the test was approved by 5 experts. The arithmetic mean, percentage, standard deviation and t-test were used for data analysis. The major results of the study were as follows : 1. The government school students and private school students had mean scores higher than half of the total point from the test of knowledge in English descriptive writing with the percentage of 51.44 and 63.31 respectively. The government school students got the highest mean score in the aspect of organization of their work and the lowest mean score in the aspect of relevance. But the private school students got the highest mean score in the aspect of vocabulary and the lowest mean score in the aspect of characteristics of descriptive writing. 2. The government school students had a mean score lower than half of the total points from the test of ability in English descriptive- writing with the percentage of 42.29. But the private school students had a mean score higher than half of the total points with the percentage of 56.38. The two groups had the highest mean score in the aspect of mechanics and the lowest mean score in the aspect of grammar. 3. In comparing the knowledge and ability in English descriptive writing between mathayom suksa six students in the government and the private schools in Bangkok Metropolis, it was revealed that the private school students had a mean score higher than the government school students out of the total points for knowledge and ability, and in each case at the .01 level of significance, which proves the hypothesis. |
