| Abstract: | การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทราบลักษณะการสะท้อนปัญหาสังคมและการวิพากษ์วิจารณ์สังคมในภาพยนตร์ของ มจ. ชาตรีเฉลิม ยุคล หรือ "ท่านมุ้ย" ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ภาพยนตร์ของท่านมุ้ยได้สะท้อนปัญหาสังคมต่างๆ 15 ปัญหาด้วยกัน ปัญหาสังคมที่พบมากที่สุดคือ ปัญหาอาชญากรรมและความปลอดภัยในชีวิตและทรัพย์สิน รองลงมาคือ ปัญหาความยากจน ปัญญาคอร์รัปชั่น และปัญหาครอบครัวตามลพดับ ในการสะท้อนปัญหานั้นภาพยนตร์ของท่านมุ้ยส่วนใหญ่จะสะท้อนปัญหาของชนชั้นล่างของสังคม แต่อย่างไรก็ตามการมองปัญหาสังคมของท่านมุ้ยก็เป็นการมองแบบ "เจ้า" ที่มองมาจากเบื้องบน และไม่ได้เสนอแนวทางในการแก้ไขปัญหาแต่อย่างใด ส่วนการวิพากษ์วิจารณ์สังคมนั้นพบว่า ภาพยนตร์ของท่ายมุ้ยวิพากษ์วิจารณ์สถาบันสังคม 3 สถาบันด้วยกันคือ สถาบันสื่อสารมวลชน สถาบันตำรวจ และสถาบันนักการเมือง โดยการวิพากษ์วิจารณ์นั้นจะมีลักษณะ "ผู้ใหญ่" (ผู้ที่มีสถานภาพทางสังคมในระดับสูง) ว่ากล่าว "เด็กๆ" (ผู้ที่มีสถานภาพทางสังคมในระดับต่ำกว่า) ไม่ใช่เป็นการวิพากษ์วิจารณ์อย่างเอาเป็นเอาตาย นอกจากนี้ยังพบว่าภาพยนตร์ของท่านมุ้ยทุกเรื่องจะมีลักษณะ "น่าสงสาร" มากกว่า "น่ากลัว" อีกด้วย ซึ่งตามความเป็นจริงแล้วภาพยนตร์ของท่ายมุ้ยควรจะมีลักษณะ "น่ากลัว" มากกว่า "น่าสงสาร" |
| Other Abstract: | This aim of this research is to find out the nature of reflection of social problems and social criticism on the movies of Prince Chatri C. Yukol or "Tarn Mui". The research reveals that the movies of Tarn Mui reflect 15 social problems, the most common ones being concerned with crimes, safety of life and properties. Next in line come poverty, corruption and family problems. His films general portray the problems of the lower strata of society and he looks at these social problems from the stand-point of nobility, looking from above and does not suggest any guidelines to solutions of the problems. It is found that his criticisms are aimed at three institutions like mass media, police and politicians, suggesting the reprimand from a social superior to commoners rather than suggesting serious form of criticism. Moreover, most of the movies of Tarn Mui look pitiful rather than being fearful, in fact, they should be fearful rather than be pitiful. |
