dc.description.abstractการวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาการใช้และความต้องการในการใช้บัตรรายการของบรรณารักษาห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยในด้านวัตถุประสงค์ ประเภทของบัตรรายการ วิธีค้นบัตรรายการ ข้อมูลในบัตรรายการที่ใช้ และปัญหาในการใช้บัตรรายการ ผลของการวิจัยพบว่าบรรณารักษ์ห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยส่วนใหญ่มีวัตถุประสงค์ ในการใช้บัตรรายการทั้งเพื่อการปฏิบัติงานและเรื่องส่วนตัว ในการปฏิบัติงานบรรณารักษ์ห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยใช้บัตรรายการเป็นบางครั้งแต่ใช้ทุกวัน และใช้เพื่อค้นหาหนังสือที่ต้องการกับหาข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมเกี่ยวกับหนังสือประเภทของบัตรรายการที่ใช้มากที่สุดคือบัตรเรื่อง ข้อมูลแรกที่ใช้ค้นบัตรรายการได้แก่ เลขหมู่หนังสือ ชื่อผู้แต่ง ชื่อเรื่อง หัวเรื่องและรายการโยงตามลำดับ สำหรับข้อมูลในบัตรรายการที่บรรณารักษ์ห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัยใช้เพื่อค้นข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมเกี่ยวกับหนังสือที่ใช้มากที่สุดคือชื่อผู้แต่งที่เป็นบุคคล และข้อมูลที่ไม่ใช้เลยคือ ขนาดของหนังสือ ส่วนปัญหาในการใช้บัตรรายการส่วนใหญ่ได้แก่บัตรรายการมักเรียงไม่ทันกับหนังสือบนชั้นและบัตรรายการเรียงผิด และบัตรรายการที่เป็นปัญหาในการใช้มากที่สุดคือบัตรเรื่อง-
