| Abstract: | การวิจัยชิ้นชิ้นนี้ตั้งอยู่บนกรอบโครงสร้างทางความคิดที่มุ่งศึกษาและวิเคราะห์การเปลี่ยนแปลงทางรูปแบบสถาปัตยกรรมที่ดำเนินควบคู่ไปกับพัฒนาการทางความคิด ความเชื่อ และค่านิยมทางสังคม ตลอดจนความเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสังคมและการเมือง โดยเน้นที่จะค้นหา ความหมาย ที่แฝงอยู่ในรูปแบบงานสถาปัตยกรรม ที่สัมพันธ์กับปัจจัยและแรงผลักดันภายในทางสังคมที่คู่ขนานไปกับปัจจัยภายนอกที่เข้ามา ทั้งนี้ได้ใช้ช่วงเวลาระหว่างปี พ.ศ. 2394-2500 อันเป็นช่วงที่สังคมไทยเปลี่ยนแปลงจากยุค "สยามเก่า" มาสู่ "ไทยใหม่" เป็นตัวแบบในการศึกษา ผลการศึกษาพบว่าเมื่อโลกทัศน์แบบ "จักรวาลทัศน์ไตรภูมิ" ถูกท้าทายด้วยความคิดสมัยใหม่แบบวิทยาศาสตร์ในปลายรัชกาลที่สาม ได้นำมาซึ่งความเปลี่ยนแปลงทางรูปแบบและแนวคิดทางสถาปัตยกรรมเป็นอย่างยิ่ง รูปแบบสถาปัตยกรรมถูกสร้างขึ้นอย่างสอดคล้องกับอุดมคติทางสังคมแบบใหม่ที่อ้างอิงหลักวิทยาศาสตร์มากขึ้น อุดมคติร่วมทางสังคมและปัจจัยทางการเมืองภายในได้นำมาสู่การสร้างงานสถาปัตยกรมที่สะท้อนอุดมคติใหม่เรื่อง "ความศิวิไลซ์" และการเปลี่ยนเข้าสู่ระบอบการปกครองแบบรวมศูนย์ของ "รัฐสมบูรณาญาสิทธิราชย์" ซึ่งอาจเรียกโดยรวมว่าการเปลี่ยนผ่านเข้าสู่ยุค "สยามใหม่" ของสังคมไทย ในเวลาต่อมาเมื่อความผกผันทางสังคมและการเมืองได้นำมาซึ่งการเปลี่ยนแปลงการปกครองสู่ระบอบ "ประชาธิปไตย" งานสถาปัตยกรรมก็ทำหน้าที่สะท้อนอุดมคติในยุค "ไทยใหม่" และแนวคิดแบบ "ประชาธิปไตย" อย่างชัดเจนเช่นกัน โดยสะท้อนผ่านในรูปแบบอาคารที่เรียบง่ายไร้การประดับตกแต่งของ "รูปแบบสถาปัตยกรรมแบบทันสมัย" และ "รูปแบบสถาปัตยกรรมไทยเครื่องคอนกรีต" แต่หลังสงครามโลกครั้งที่สองเป็นต้นมา กระแสแนวคิดแบบ "อนุรักษ์นิยม" และกรอบประวัติศาสตร์แบบ "ราชาชาตินิยมใหม่" ได้ส่งผลสะท้อนกลับทำให้รูปแบบสถาปัตยกรรมหวนกลับมาสู่ความนิยมใน "รูปแบบสถาปัตยกรรมแบบจารีต" อีกครั้งหนึ่ง |
| Other Abstract: | This research is to present a constructive frame work of ideas and analysis of the change in architectural and development style of ideas, belief and preferences in society. Also taken into account are the factors changing society and politic with an emphasis on the search of means for latency in architecture and relating to the causes and influence of internal society with external causes. The period 1851 to 1957 is the period of change in society from "Old-Siam" to "New-Thai" and a model for this study. After carrying out research, it was found the world-view of "Thai Buddhist Cosmology" challenged modern ideas in science in the last period of King Rama III, resulting in changing styles and ideas in architecture. The style of architecture created according to new social ideology refers more to science. Social ideology and internal causes of politics represented in architectural work, reflected new ideology on "Civilization" and the governance of "Absolute Monarchy State" called "New-Siam". After social and political conflict, the political system and government become "Democracy". The Architectural work of "New-Thai" very clearly demonstrates the modern styles of architecture. After the Second World War, the style become more "Conservative" and the visual frame of history "New Royal Nationalism" affected architectural style with a return to a prefered "Traditional Style" again. |
