| Abstract: | วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัย เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการรู้ความหมายคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ห้า โรงเรียนในเมืองและโรงเรียนชานเมือง วิธีดำเนินการวิจัย กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ในจังหวัดนครปฐม ที่เลือกเรียนวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ ในกลุ่มประสบการณ์พิเศษ ในหลักสูตรประถมศึกษา พุทธศักราช 2521 แบ่งเป็น 2 กลุ่ม คือ กลุ่มในเมือง จำนวน 159 คน และกลุ่มชานเมือง จำนวน 177 คน ผู้วิจัยได้สร้างเครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แบบทดสอบการรู้ความหมายคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษในแบบเรียน English Is Fun Book One and Two. การดำเนินการวิจัย ผู้วิจัยได้นำแบบทดสอบการรู้ความหมายคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษที่สร้างขึ้น ไปทดสอบกับกลุ่มตัวอย่างประชากร แล้วนำกระดาษคำตอบมาตรวจให้คะแนนและเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการรู้ความหมายคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษของกลุ่มตัวอย่างประชากรทั้งสองกลุ่ม โดยการทดสอบค่าซี (Z-test) ผลการวิจัยนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5โรงเรียนในเมือง และโรงเรียนชานเมืองมีความสามารถในการรู้ความหมายคำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษไม่แตกต่างกัน ที่ระดับความมีนัยสำคัญ .05 |
| Other Abstract: | The purpose of this research was to compare the ability of English vocabulary understanding between prathom suksa five students in urban and suburb. The samples were 159 urban and 177 suburb prathom suksa five students who took English as an elective subject in the academic year 1981. The instrument used in this research was the English vocabulary understanding test from English Is Fun book One and Two which had been designed by the researcher and proved reliable. The samples were tested and the data were analyzed by using z-test. Results: The results of the experiment showed that there was no significant difference at the .05 level between the vocabulary understanding of the students in both groups. |
