| Abstract: | การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ดังนี้ 1. เพื่อศึกษาภูมิหลังทางครอบครัวของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 2. เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างภูมิหลังทางครอบครัวกับผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปี่ที่1 กลุ่มตัวอย่างประชากรคือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่หนึ่ง ปีการศึกษา 2528 ในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษา สังกัดกรมสามัญศึกษา ในจังหวัดชลบุรี จำนวน 200 คน และบิดาหรือมารดาหรือผู้ปกครองของนักเรียนดังกล่าว จำนวน 200 คน ผู้วิจัยใช้แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์กับนักเรียน และแบบสัมภาษณ์ภูมิหลังทางครอบครัวกับบิดามารดาหรือผู้ปกครอง แล้วนำข้อมูลที่ได้มาแจกแจงหาค่าร้อยละหาความสัมพันธ์ด้วยค่าไคสแควร์ และค่าสัมประสิทธิ์การณ์จร ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1. ภูมิหลังทางครอบครัวของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่หนึ่ง ในจังหวัดชลบุรีส่วนใหญ่มีลักษณะดังนี้คือ นักเรียนอยู่ในการปกครองของบิดาและมารดา เป็นบุตรคนโตของครอบครัว และมีพี่น้องทั้งหมด 3 -4 คน บิดาและมารดาอยู่ด้วยกัน ทั้งบิดาและมารดามีเชื้อชาติไทยและนับถือศาสนาพุทธ บิดาและมารดาหรือผู้ปกครองและภรรยามีการศึกษาในระดับประถมศึกษา บิดาหรือผู้ปกครองมีอาชีพรับราชการหรือทำงานรัฐวิสาหกิจ ส่วนมารดาหรือภรรยาผู้ปกครองมีอาชีพค้าขาย ครอบครัวมีรายได้เฉลี่ยในช่วง 3,001 – 5,000 บาทต่อเดือน นักเรียนอาศัยอยู่กับบิดามารดาหรือผู้ปกครองที่มีบ้านและที่ดินเป็นของตนเอง บ้านของนักเรียนอยู่ห่างจากโรงเรียนมากกว่า 2 กิโลเมตร นักเรียนต้องช่วยบิดามารดาหรือผู้ปกครองทำงานบ้าน แต่ไม่ต้องช่วยบิดามารดาหรือผู้ปกครองประกอบอาชีพ บิดามารดาหรือผู้ปกครองไม่คาดหวังในการศึกษาต่อของนักเรียน ไม่มีการให้คำปรึกษาเกี่ยวกับปัญหาวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ ไม่มีการเอาใจใส่ต่อการทำการบ้านวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียน ไม่มีการเสริมทักษะและความรู้เพิ่มเติมทางคณิตศาสตร์ และไม่มีการปรับปรุงแก้ไขผลการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียนแต่มีการปรับปรุงแก้ไขผลการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ และมีการให้การสนับสนุนและเสริมกำลังใจนักเรียน 2. ภูมิหลังทางครอบครัวที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปี่ที่หนึ่ง อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01 คือ ภูมิหลังในด้านต่อไปนี้ อาชีพของมารดาหรือภรรยาผู้ปกครอง ที่อยู่อาศัยของบิดามารดาหรือผู้ปกครอง ความคาดหวังของบิดามารดาหรือผู้ปกครองในการศึกษาต่อของนักเรียนความคิดเห็นของบิดามารดาหรือผู้ปกครองต่อวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ การให้คำปรึกษาเกี่ยวกับปัญหาวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ของบิดามารดาหรือผู้ปกครอง การเอาใจใส่ของบิดามารดาหรือผู้ปกครองต่อการทำการบ้านวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียน การเสริมทักษะและการให้ความรู้เพิ่มเติมทางคณิตศาสตร์ของบิดามารดาหรือผู้ปกครอง การติดตามผลการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ของบิดามารดาหรือผู้ปกครอง และการให้การสนับสนุนและเสริมกำลังใจนักเรียน สำหรับภูมิหลังทางครอบครัวที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 คือภูมิหลังในด้านต่อไปนี้ ลำดับที่การเกิดของนักเรียน เชื้อชาติของบิดาและมารดา ระดับการศึกษาของมารดาหรือภรรยาผู้ปกครอง ระยะห่างจากบ้านถึงโรงเรียน และการช่วยบิดามารดาหรือผู้ปกครองทำงานบ้าน ขนาดของความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างภูมิหลังทางครอบครัวกับผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่หนึ่ง ในจังหวัดชลบุรี ที่มีความสัมพันธ์กันพบว่า ที่อยู่อาศัยของบิดามารดาหรือผู้ปกรองกับผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์มีความสัมพันธ์กันมากที่สุด รองลงมาคือ การให้การสนับสนุนและเสริมกำลังใจนักเรียนกับผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนวิชาคณิตศาสตร์ของนักเรียน |
| Other Abstract: | The objectives of this research were two fold : 1. To study the family background of mathayom suksa one students. 2. To study the relationships between the family background and mathematics learning achievement of mathayom suksa one students. The samples were 200 mathayom suksa one students in academic year 1985 from secondary schools under the jurisdiction of the Department of General Education in Changwat Chonburi, and their parents or guardians. The instruments consisted of the mathematics learning achievement test and an interview form on students’ family background. The first one was employed to obtain the sampled students’ mathematics learning achievement , while the latter was administered to the students’ parents or guardians to obtain the students’ family background. The obtained data were analyzed by means of percentage, Chi – square and contingency coefficient of correlation. The results of the research indicated that : 1. Most of the family background of mathayom suksa one students in Changwat Chonburi were as follows : The students were under the quardianship of their fathers and mothers. The students were the oldest of 3-4 children. Their parents were living together. Both their fathers and mother were Thai nationality and Budhists. Their parents or guardians and wives had elementary education. Their father or guardians worked in the government offices or in state enterprises. Their mothers or guardians’ wives were in business. The average family earning were between 3,001 – 5,000 bath per month. The students lives with their parents or guardians who had their own houses and lands. The students’ home were more than two kilometers away from school. They had to help their parents or guardians do household work but did not have to help their parents’ or guardians’ occupation. Students’ parents or guardians did not expect their children to further their education. No advice was given concerning problems in mathematics. No attention was paid to the students’ doing homework in mathematics. No skill reinforcement or any additional knowledge in mathematics were given nor anything was done to improve the results of their learning mathematics except following up the results and given them support and encouragement. 2.There were relationships between the family background and mathematics learning achievement of mathayom suksa one students at the .01 level of significance in the following aspects : the occupation of their mothers or guardians’ wives, their parents’ or guardians’ home, their parents’ or guardians’ expectation of their further education, their parents’ or guardians’ opinions towards mathematics, their parents’ or guardians’ advice on problems about mathematics, their parents’ or guardians’ attention to their doing homework in mathematics, their parents’ or guardians’ provision for the additional knowledge of mathematics and skill reinforcement, their parents’ or guardians’ follow - up the results of their learning mathematics and the support and encouragement given to them. There were relationships between the family background and mathematics learning achievement of mathayom suksa one students at the .05 level of significance in the following aspects : students’ birth order, the parents’ nationality, the education of their mothers or guardians’ wives, the distance from their home to their schools and their helping their parents or guardians do household work. Regarding the degree of relationships between the family background and mathematics learning achievement of mathayom suksa one students in Changwat Chonburi, it had been found that the relationship between their parents’ or guardians’ home and students’ mathematics learning achievement was at the highest degree, the second was the degree of the relationship between their parents’ or guardian’ support and encouragement and students’ mathematics learning achievement. |
