| Abstract: | วัตถุประสงค์ของการวิจัย เพื่อศึกษาข้อเท็จจริงเกี่ยวกับการเรียนการสอนวิชาหน้าที่พลเมืองในโรงเรียนมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย ในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ และสำรวจปัญหาที่ครู นักเรียนประสบ ตลอดจนข้อคิดเห็นและข้อเสนอแนะในการปรับปรุงหลักสูตร แบบเรียน การเรียนการสอนวิชาหน้าที่พลเมืองในชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายให้บรรลุวัตถุประสงค์ตามที่หลักสูตรกำหนดไว้ ผลการวิจัยนี้จะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อครูและนักเรียนในอันที่จะปรับปรุงการเรียนการสอนให้มีประสิทธิภาพดีขึ้น วิธีการวิจัย ผู้วิจัยได้ส่งแบบสอบถามไปยังครูผู้สอนวิชาหน้าที่พลเมืองชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย จำนวน 25 คน และนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลายในโรงเรียนประจำจังหวัดของภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ 15 แห่ง จำนวน 300 คน ได้รับแบบสอบถามคืนมา 325 ชุด ผู้วิจัยวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยคิดเป็นร้อยละ หาค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และนำเสนอในรูปตารางประกอบคำอธิบาย สรุปผลการวิจัย วิธีสอนที่ครูใช้บ่อยที่สุดคือบรรยาย การอธิบายประกอบการซักถาม การค้นคว้าประกอบการเรียนและเปิดโอกาสให้นักเรียนได้แสดงความคิดเห็นและฝึกแก้ปัญหาโดยการอภิปราย นอกจากนี้ครูได้แนะนำให้นักเรียนติดตามข่าวประจำวันจากหนังสือพิมพ์ วิทยุ และเอกสารทางวิชาการต่างๆ ปัญหาสำคัญของครูได้ค้นพบจากการวิจัยนี้คือ โรงเรียนไม่สามารถจัดหาแหล่งค้นคว้า หนังสืออ่านประกอบ เอกสารทางวิชาการ ตำรา และอุปกรณ์ ประกอบการสอนให้กับครูและนักเรียนได้เพียงพอ ขณะที่นักเรียนประสบปัญหาเนื้อหาวิชาไม่น่าสนใจ ครูและนักเรียนทราบดีว่าการจัดกิจกรรมช่วยให้มีประสบการณ์กว้างขวาง แต่ครูมีปัญหาเกี่ยวกับงบประมาณในการใช้จ่ายจึงไม่อาจจัดกิจกรรมได้ตามที่ต้องการ ในด้านการวัดผล ครูส่วนใหญ่มีความมุ่งหมายเพื่อวัดประสิทธิภาพในการเรียนของนักเรียน ครูให้ข้อเสนอแนะว่า ผู้บริหารควรจะจัดเพิ่มงบประมาณ เวลา อุปกรณ์การสอน และหนังสือสำหรับสอนวิชาหน้าที่พลเมืองให้มากขึ้น ส่วนนักเรียนเสนอแนะว่า อุปกรณ์การสอนและหนังสือวิชาหน้าที่พลเมืองควรให้ทันสมัยเสมอ ข้อเสนอแนะ 1. กระทรวงศึกษาธิการควรจะปรับปรุงหลักสูตร และคุณภาพของวิชาหน้าที่พลเมืองให้ทันสมัย และเนื้อหาควรจะให้เหมาะสมกับความต้องการของนักเรียน และคำนึงถึงวุฒิภาวะของนักเรียนให้มากกว่านี้ 2. โรงเรียนควรจะสนับสนุนในการจัดหนังสืออ่านประกอบ อุปกรณ์การสอนสำหรับครูและนักเรียนให้เพียงพอ 3. ครูสอนหน้าที่พลเมืองควรจะปรับปรุงตัวเองในด้านความรู้ และวิธีสอน โดยการใช้อุปกรณ์การสอนให้มากขึ้นกว่าเดิม |
| Other Abstract: | Purposes: The purposes of this research were to study the facts con¬cerning Civics Instruction in the upper secondary school in North East .of Thailand, to investigate problems of teachers and students, and also to find out their points of view and suggestions which should be helpful for improving the curriculum, textbooks, and Civics Instruction. The findings of this study would be valuable for teachers' and students to improve their teaching and learning. Procedures: Questionnaires were sent to 25 Civics teachers and 300 students in the upper secondary schools. They were 15 government schools in North East of Thailand. All the questionnaires were returned. The obtained data were analyzed and tabulated by percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation and then presented in tables with explanations. Conclusions: The instructional methods often used were lecturing, explaning with questions, and sometimes gave the students to express their opinions or to-solve the problems by discussion. Students were suggested to follow the current events from newspapers, radio' and academic manuals. The important problems that the teachers faced were the schools were unable to provide adequate' resources,' supplementary readings, academic manuals, textbooks and audio-visual aids. The research also showed that students disliked this subject because of the uninteresting content. Both teachers and students knew that activities were valuable to provide wide experiences, but lack of financial support made it is impossible. The purposes of evaluation were to measure the effectiveness of learning. The teachers suggested that the administrators should provide more money, time, instructional materials and books for Civics instruction. Students suggested that instructional materials and Civics textbooks should be revised to modernize. Suggestions: 1. The Ministry of Education should improve and modernize the curriculum and qualities of Civics textbooks, and the content should be suitable to students' need and maturity. 2. The school should be supported to provide the supplementary readings and audio-visual aids for teachers and students. 3. The Civics teachers should try to improve themselves by enriching their knowledge and use more instructional media to improve their method of teaching. |
